It is a clean and cheap hostel with very comfy rooms. The people who work there are very kind and helpfull. What you pay is what you get but for this money you get really good deal. I even liked the croisant for breakfast:) If you are used to eat a lot in the morning this breakfast won`t be enough but that`s what Italians have in the morning. We`ll sure go back there if we visit milano again.
all reviews » The hostel is clean, the room is comfortable and big. The staff is very kind and cooperative. Although the hostel is located a little far from center, there is a train line really near and it is too easy to get around the city (Also, you can go to the “statizione centrale” about 10 minutes by taxi). More hotel than a hostel. Nice surprice. Nice room with comfortable bads, clean, friendly staff, very good leisure room. The local tram stop to the Milano center is about 5-10mins of walking from the hostel. Trams are from early morning untill 1am ! Very handy. Excellent location for seeing Milan, great reception staff, nice and clean room, shower, toilet all good working order, free parking. The lounge is particularly good, spacious, with a TV, free wifi, all making it feel like a good hotel rather than a hostel. Overall experience at New Moon Resort, Milan was very good. The rooms were spacious and nicely maintained. The Milan Rly. terminal is not far off (about 10 Euro by Taxi) and other places of tourists interest are also nearby. the hostel was perfect!! the staff was very helpful and willing to answer to every question that we asked them! the room was spacious and very very clean...it had free wifi and simple breakfast! i recommend it!!. The breakfast isn’t good. It is provided just one croissaint per person/day and the same kind of croissant all days, without any butter or jelly. Also, after our planned reservation, we decided to stay 2 more days (we did a new check-in), the hostel didn’t change our towels (we should pay an additional price for this). There was a very noisy vending machine near our room. Especially annoing during the nights!!! This kind of equipment should be placed far from the rooms. The breakfast was kind of average (one croissant and a coffe). You only get your croissant in the early morning. The hostel is close to the small local train station so it can be a bit noisy in some of the rooms but it wasn't a problem for us. breakfast is rather a pretense, but it is free/included in the room rate. (but Coffee from the machine is standard). No wifi in the rooms. The B/Fast at the Hotel may be improved to include some juice/ fruits. At present, only muffins & Tea/ Coffee is served in B/Fast. it wasn't at the center of Milano...But with a tram you can reach Milano within 10 min!! Hostel room was very nearly from train station (about 10 meters) so it was very noisy all the time. Breakfast is very poor, there was only 1 croissant for 1 person.
