We were surprised about the good value of this hotel which is in a walking distance of the central railway station. We didn't expect such a modern nice room (got luckily one on a very high floor with a look to the penthouse opposite). No noise from the street. The little old tramway stops only 100 mrs away. all reviews » Very good location! Milano Centrale and Corso de Buenos Aires are located 5-10 minute away from Ferton Hotel. Also it is not far from Duomo because 2 metro stations are located nearby. Reception desk staff was friendly. They were ready to help and they’re answered all my question. The room was clean as well as towels. All furniture looks modern and new. In general hotel looks exactly like it is shown on the photos. Breakfast was included. There were all necessary things for a good beginning of . The hotel is situated very near the central railway station, about 10 minutes walking. It is also near Corso Buenos Aires. To the center, La Scala and Duomo is a little far away, it takes about 30 minutes to reach that sights on foot. There is a metro station -Republica very near the hotel.The hotel itself was very clean and new. We had a junior suite with nice and spacious roof terrase.As the suite was on the 5th floor we had no problem with the street noise, although the street was not very . We liked the location a lot - very close to Milano Centrale, Corso Buenos Aires, Repubblica metro station. Tram stop was just a minute away and it takes you straight to Duomo and Via Montenapoleone in 10 mins. Amazing restaurant just opposite the hotel. Had a little trouble locating hotel when I first arrived, misunderstood directions on hotel website. Room remained chilly even with the heat on entire time, no blanket, no carpet, was uncomfortable awake and asleep. Lights only activated with keycard, which I didn't know. Was a bit inconvenient. - haven't managed to start air conditioning, but that was not a necessity. Small room and small restorant. But i saw there was bigger rooms with a common bed. The elevator cabin is too small for two travellers with bags. The rooms are a little bit small. There needed fruit for breakfast. Th ereception staff could be a little more welcoming. They appeared to be going through the motions rather than being enthusiastic about their job. Elevetor was so small and there is no inclined access to the hotel for stroller. Uncomfortable bed!! It is good we stayed just for one night. The bed was very hard and hurt my neck . The corridors lack warmth and look slightly grubby which was a surprise given the quality of the room decor. The elevator did not go all the way up to the fifth floor. The room was small. No English language television channel was available. Baggage storage was inadequate, we were discouraged to leave our small bags there. Nothing. Not in good location, and bit hard to find. The breakfast was bad, and cold. When waiting to check out in the morning the lady behind the reception desk ignored us even though we had been waiting for another couple to check out, and turned to help someone that had just walked in off the street. She tried to call us back to check out when we walked out the door, but we had already paid the night before and if she wasn't interested in us, why should we bother with her. No lift from 4th to 5th floor. breakfast starts at 7:30 but in this time don't expect fully prepared breakfast menu - there is something to eat but full menu available at 8:30 perhaps (work in progress :-)). beds are too hard and need an upgrade. N/A. You could hear some street noise in the room, especially the early morning street sweepers. Breakfast was average (though the unlimited coffee fantastic). The hotel had run out of city maps and the staff were polite but not very helpful.
