The Hotel was very clean and comfortable and our room was spacious and airy. Plenty of light during the day and after dark, so cheerful and lots of room. The Porter who helped us with luggage etc was delightful and so helpful and welcoming. Staff are charming universally. Coffee was wonderful! The position is perfect for all the places you want to see. I use a buggy so it was brilliant as the Hotel is in the Galleria.
all reviews » I like very much your hotel because it is elegant, not too large and privately owned, quiet and exactly in the centre of Milano, the town where I was born many many years ago. Mariolina Koller-Fanconi, now living in Nova Scotia, Canada (this time I was accompanied by a Canadian friend). The hotel was excellent value for money for central Milan. The staff were polite and courteous. We had easy access to shopping, restaurants and other sites we wanted to visit. I was ill and stuff was very friendly to bring hot water, to go to the farmacy to buy medicine. Rooms are very quiet! No any noise from outside. Internet has good quality. Nice size room and spacious bathroom. Perfect location in the centre of Milan. Good internet in the room with a code for each device. The refurbishing of the hotel takes a bit too long (wait for elevators), but fortunately it's not disturbing to us guests. I was in October. It was pretty cold in a room. The hotel charge us for extra bed even in our reservation it was not mention. The safety box doesn't work in my room but its okay coz I'm not lucky man ;). Safe was broken, no bar and only breakfast, no restaurant,no room service. So on facilities struggling to see how it was 4*. need a good satnav to get there. No bottel water in the room, no baboosh, no immersion heater for hot water. Noisy AC. Pricy. A bit formal attitude to hotel guests. It is excellent!. Some dishes we had to wait at breakfast, coffee was not too good. Nothing. it's expencive for just location. A bit hard to find if you are coming in by Metro. They should put better directions on their web site. Do not take a car into Milan. no bar, poor breakfast, small rooms, almost inexisting reception. Cannot quote for a 4 starts hotel at all. Staff, especially reception, unfriendly, bathroom dirty, breakfast poor, not worth four stars. Bad stuff. old old old hotel it have keys from the room.
