Brilliant location, perfect for shopping and sightseeing. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, and a handy bus stop about 50m away. I phoned the managers when I arrived at the airport and there was someone waiting for me with a key when I got to the apartment. The apartment is clean and basic and very spacious. Loads of books and DVDs provided, mostly in Italian. Proper full sized hairdryer.
all reviews » The location of the appartment was perfect. It was spotless and very comfortable for our family of four. Two adults and two kids. There was also a supermart nearby and just below the appartment there were a number of cafes. The nespresso machine was a nice touch and so were the Dvds and books on the book self. Overall , the price , location and the quality of the appartment was excellent. We had an excellent stay at the Garibaldi Apartment. The room was very spacious and the bed upstairs was most comfortable. The kitchen was amazing and the best drawer setup we have seen. Had everything. We dropped luggage off at Hotel Solutions in morning and arranged for check-in time 14:30. When we arrived our luggage was there - so easy and convenient. Excellent value for money. It was very well located, and we walked to the Duomo area. The apartment was very clean and bright and spacious. The staff was very helpful and informative - Massimo, Aurielo and Fabio. The Nespresso machine!! :). Beautiful style/art apartment with wi-fi and style mod-cons. Excellent location (Brera) and service of staff excellent. We were able to keep our luggage with them after we left. Very clean and nicely finished. Everything we needed - fridge was very useful, and great to have the espresso machine. Plenty of plates and cutlery, but only 2 glasses and 2 cups provided. The wardrobe is too short to hang dresses or coats in. The shower is a fixed 'rainfall' type and very weak. The only seating is four dining chairs around the dining table, and there is no separate desk. The bathroom was very compact. The wifi was very slow and didnt work most of the time. You have to ring first to make time for check-in, as there are several apartments spread over Milano. letsbookhotel.com doesn't explain this on their website. When booked make sure you have printed off the apartment and make sure it is the correct address. Found a few mosquitoes in the apartment. The actual location of our apartment was on a very busy street. The noise, even with the windows closed, was unacceptably loud - for the prices we paid. Need to install better insulated windows. Apartment fantastic other than that. Noise from the lift was quite noticeable during the night, but I guess there's nothing that can be done about that I overlooked the sentence that said to contact the owner beforehand to arrange when to arrive, and this could be made more obvious. No toaster or dishwasher. Restaurants close but not just around the corner. Check out at 11am and not possible to leave your luggage in the appartment or somewhere nearby. 3 person apartment was all open plan so no privacy for the double bed. Although it was a nonsmoking apartment it was smelling.. the beddings were clean but smelled cigarette. To a nonsmoker person this was irritating. The worst thing there were mosquitos in the apartment we couldnt find the source but killed 20-30 a night, so couldnt sleep. the process, no reception it took us almost an hour to wait for someone then drive to a different location, very inconvenient. We were also charged for being one hour late in checkout, which was also strange since they did not even have a front desk. We have been given a smoking room and the smell was horrible. Remember to specify no smoking. I didn't like the fact we had to carry our luggage to the apartment which was not located where the rental offices were. Whereas if it were a hotel the luggage would have been carried up to the room when it was ready. Lack of hanging space in Bathroom for towels etc. a cofee table in the lounge room would have been nice. More tourist information should have been provided + a map of Milano. Greeting was ordinary basic info and left to our own devices. having to arrange for Key delivery was inconvenient, difficult to reach the contact number when we arrived and had to wait on the street. Poor communication. If it wasn't for a nice taxi driver we would have been on roads. 1) When we arrived at the apartments, door was closed (weekends). Nice taxi driver eventually managed to get hold of the Hotel Solution's staff ( people who manage this apartment). 2) Lift had been out of order, at the crucial time, taking luggage up and bringing from 4th floor. Dirty No extra blanket pillow soup towel tissue toilet paper in emergency No cleanning tools around.
