  We were very impressed by the way staff arranged all transfers particularly because we did not speak Italian. The desk staff were wonderful. Such a relief to be able to communicate in English. Loved the place. - Great staff, beautiful grounds.

  A great hotel if you want to be in a quiet location. We were very lucky with the room (we had a little house away from the main building) with a great view of the sea. The pool is priceless, wonderful view. Staff was friendly. Go for the aperitivo!   The staff is great, always gentle and friendly. Gianfranco, the owner, is always willing to help and give information concerning the island of Salina. Breakfasts are abundant and very well prepared with a wide selection of food. The view from the terrace of the apartments as well as from the breakfast terrace is absolutely great! The best thing is the main terrace which has stunning views to the sea and stromboli in good weather. The hotel has no swimming pool so it is indeed very quiet.

  Overall we had a nice 5 day's stay at the hotel. The Island is still pretty and unspoilt and there are some small rocky beaches. Positive is the friendly staff and serving a good breakfast.   Friendliness of staff, stunning views, relaxed atmosphere and terrific evening meals! - The infinity pool has the most amazing view and our room was very comfortable and stylishly decorated. This small hotel was so nice that we changed our plans around so that we could stay an extra day here. Tha - I stay in hotels 200+ nights per year and Turkiscu is one of my favorite properties in the world. Lorenzo provides a perfect level of service and runs the hotel with great care. The breakfast is delicious and he makes it a point to ensure every guest has a great stay, without being invasive. The nearby Scalo beach is relaxing and unique, and Salina overall is a calming and memorable destination. I highly recommend Turkiscu.
