We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by Antonio who was wonderful! He oriented us to Florence, gave us a map, and made recommendations. He also recommended and helped us plan a day trip to Lucca. It is so quiet at night and cooler than Florence. Dinner on the terrazza overlooking Florence. The antique everything. What better than a stay in a Medici Villa for a visit to Florence! You can buy bus tickets right there and hike up to the road to catch a bus. Nice 20 min walk to Fiesole, or you can take the bus.
