We stayed for 7 nights and loved every moment of our stay. Hosts
Viviana and Paulo made us welcome from the moment we walked through
the gate. Their place is welcoming and relaxed and nothing is too much
trouble. Viviana even showed us how to catch the bus and where to
visit in Florence. Her daily treats and well stocked complimentary
fridge were well received. We ate at the local restaurant six nights -
another of Viviana's suggestions - fantastic. The quality of this
place was great.

Great location. Can walk everywhere you need to go. Hotel is on second floor of pretty non-descript building on fun street with plenty of restaurants and shops. Close to all major sites. Owner and family and staff could not have been more congenial, and helpful, which always balances a hotel which is a bit less than elegant. Despite on the fact the hotel is on the seconf floor and you have to carry your luggage with no lift, dear Paolo can see you with an intercom and is ready to help you. This hotel is a little gem! Beautiful English decor, very cosy and stylish. Little breakfast area with four tables; breakfast with a choice of breads, jams, eggs, cereals, fresh fruits etc. Our room was big enough for three and had all facilities we needed. The hotel is on the outside of Florence approx 4 km. of the city centre.
