As a single female I felt very safe, my room was clean, no view but I don't stay in my room except to shower and sleep. The location was close to the train and bus station, I was able to walk everywhere. There are several good restaurants and pizzerias within 2 blocks. I very much enjoyed my stay. Staff was very helpful in showing me where all the sights are and making my stay enjoyable. I will stay there again.
all reviews » The location was fantastic, easy walking distance from the train station and to all major tourist spots. Lots of dining options very close by. And both the central market and the leather market less than 2 minutes away! I asked the desk to change my air conditioning setting so I could make the room nice and comfortable when I returned from my excursions. I would definitely stay here again. Location is perfect - very close to the train station and there are a lot of restaurants along that street, supermarket and other shops are there as well. The free wireless internet is very reliable. I used my iPhone and iPad and never had a problem the whole time. The room price is budget friendly, it even comes with free breakfast. We arrive late in the hotel and had a quick check in. the staff was very helpful, they told us how to visit the city in one day, and made a reservation in order to skip the line at gallerie uffizi. the rooms had considerable space with all the necessary facilities. great location from the train station and city center. The location was superb. 5 minutes from the Duomo and in the old part of town with little traffic on the street. Breakfast was great and the morning coffee was the best I experienced in my travels through Italy. Would definitely stay at this hotel again if lucky enough to return to Florence. Having Luggage and small children, it was difficult to climb stairs 2-3 times a day. nothing. A little bit noisy and no elevator. The A/C was turned off and had to open the windows. Noise from the street till late. Pillows could be better. nothing to signal. Breakfast. Room looked to the inner yard. It wasn't any pleasant view and in addition there were not pleasant smells. A bit of noise from the street, but as the rooms are air conditioned, you can keep windows shut. Car parking is a little difficult... Rooms are very small and outdated. For a cloustrophobic is a torture. Bad internet connection. No safe to keep your valuables in the room. The price was too high for the value. Room could use a remodel, but was comfortable. no lift. Basement room was offers which was of very much discomfort, noisy. Very difficult to search s proper location marking was not there. NOISY! Ground floor room was next to roadway with very noisy restaurants close by and the incessant sound of wheeled suitcases being dragged over the rough paving - will stay further out if I ever visit Florence again!. My room was on the ground floor. It was very noisy from dining room early in the morning.
