I really like the location of the hotel, it is almost at the center of the city and close to the train station. the guy in charge of the hotel was very helpful and kind. he let us know about the attractions of the city showing them on the city map and drawing routes for us. besides he suggested a good restaurant and a nice wine shop. the decoration is another plus. The receptionist was so helpful, friendly, the location is just amazing, almost everything to see in Florence is walking distance. The whole place was super clean, I wondered how they keep it that way. wi-fi works so well, there is a commune computer as well. also they allow you to drop the bags off at the lobby and come back later, after you check out.
all reviews » It is a budget one star hotel, ideally placed in the center of Florence. The staff are exceptional, we were encouraged to visit the local facilities and directed to the better restaurants. The money you save on the room can be well spent in the local markets. Learn some Italian if you intend to stray from the tourist areas. Thumbs up all round!!. Its the 2nd time we stayed in Loggia Fiorentina (last time was in 2011). The front desk staff was very nice and willing to help. He shared with us some good restaurants and interesting places to go in Florence. Hotel room was very clean and quiet. The staff was very kind, knew English well and were even able to order our group a taxi to the airport. The wifi was great, the rooms were comfortable and the whole place was unique and comfortable. Conviently located next to a great coffee shop!. Great value! Fantastic location, short walk into centre of town. Staff are really accomodating & happy to give any advice asked. Decor is great, unique. Room was spacious & warm. For coffee, make sure you go to Bar Rosano. This hotel was very nicely furnished and it felt very warm and cosy. The staff were willing to do anything to help and the room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel had really nice public areas, foyer,dining etc. The staff is very nice and helpful, gave us lots of helpful suggestions about the restaurants and tourism. The location is very good, not far away from the station and there are lots of delicious restaurants near by. The staff is very friendly and they are always up to help. The location is perfect: close to the train station and to the main attractions (In fact, the whole city is very compact and the hotel is at center ville). The facility in the hotel is good. I like it, it was clean and cheap!. the water in the shower was a bit weak. It would be nice if there was included breakfast. Wifi was in the room but often cut out. But there is a computer there you can use. Shower in room didn't have enough pressure to wash hair, but there are a few communal bathrooms you can use, with a lovely Bali theme. You couldn't access the Wifi from the rooms, only in the common rooms downstairs. The stairs up to the hotel were very dark and dank and it was a little bit dangerous because you could easily fall down the stairs. The wifi is very very weak. In the night the light is so dark. The internet wouldn't work in our bedroom and we had to stay at the lobby so we could get the signal. Anyway, it was a 29 euros bedroom, so we can't complain. Well... the only thing, is that the Wifii should be available in the rooms far away from the reception, other than that the hostal is GREAT !!!. This is not really a con, but plutôt a lesson from my experience: Do use the air conditioner at night in summer and close the windows. There is a bar that is quite loud outside. I slept with the window open (which I usually prefer) but regretted it very much. The room had a shower, bidet and sink in a corner, but no toilet (which was down the hall). Not a big deal just kind of odd. WiFi did not work well in the room, but was fine down the hall a bit and in the nice sitting area. The wifi didn't work while we were there which was a bit annoying. There were also only two bathrooms which got quite busy so at times you had to wait for one to come free. But in terms of value for money this is a great place to stay. Do not book shared bathroom!. A bit noisy, heard everything when the neighbor talked too loud during the night. The location is about 10 -15 minutes walking from station smn.it is a good location if you do not have heavy bags to carry. A little noisy (thin doors) and difficult "system" re. the booking of breakfasts. Wifi is weak in the room, but you can use wifi at lobby. The breakfast and the parking are extremely expensive. The room is a little bit small. Reception schedules are not good. Although the price was a great value and location was perfect this place is definitely for the younger crowd and not for older couples looking for travel thrift. More like a youth hostel. The bathroom was a bit of a squeeze. The wi-fi signal on the second floor was weak and so we needed to stay on the lobby to access the web on our devices. The room had a lingering, faint smell of cigar. air con didn't work properly. The room could have used a little updating. No elevator. Not that cheap, at least with private bathroom (which was the smalest bathroom I've ever been in). Almost no wifi signal in some of the rooms, only available in public area Tiny private toilet, but acceptable. Hair dryer did not work!. Breakfast was expensive at 7 euros. Rooms are small. I was moved to another room after the first night for an unknown reason but the new room was better. Shared bathroom/toilet facilities is slightly annoying and the rooms are below higher blocks meaning not too much natural light in some of them and I had a view of a grill filled with cigarette butts. Share bathroom The breakfast is not include. Bathroom too narrow. bathroom was shared. The room was tiny!.
