Hotel staff were extremely helpful - particularly getting a taxi from the station in a downpour of biblical proportions. Rooms were lovely, big bathrooms, great breakfast etc. Quality hotel - good location. Good place in Florance. The location, the staff, the building itself and the breakfasts were excellent, most of all, the room was always kept tidy and clean.

Dinner in the tower lounge, the Liberty lounge, on the roof terrace or a cocktail in the private museum or on the terrace whilst admiring the magnificent view of the city of Florence, are few of the many events organized by the Santa Elisabetta restaurant.

The chef, Antonio Piro, is known as one of the most creative chefs of the new generation, representing the Tuscan cuisine with a touch of innovation. The cuisine is combined with the best of Tuscan wines chosen by the Sommelier make your dinner an unforgettable experience. The restaurant is composed of 3 different areas and can accommodate up to 120 guests.

The Hotel Brunelleschi originates from the recovered invaluable historic structures of the Byzantine tower named 'Pagliazza' and the medieval church of San Michele in Palchetto.

The hotel has been completely reconstructed with respect to the architectural characteristics of the era and yet with the most modern services.

Facilities include conference rooms for from 5 to 100 persons and a restaurant for exclusive dinners.

A private museum, containing historical exhibits found during the reconstruction, is at the guests disposal.

In order to reach the hotel by car, guests must communicate their registration plate number to reception. You can drive up to the hotel to offload your luggage. There is a local parking garage nearby with valet service. In the dinner rate, beverages are not included.

Travelling information

By Car:
From the A1 motorway:
- Exit at Firenze Sud
- After the toll, follow the road for another 4 km to the end.
- At the traffic lights turn left, and follow the ‘lungarni’, along the Arno River.
- After another 3 km the road bends to the right (VialeGiovanni Amendola).
- Take the first road on the left (Viale Duca d’Abruzzi), and turn right at the end, crossing the road onto Via dell’Agnolo.
- At the end, turn right in Via Verdi. At Piazza G.Salvemini, after the traffic lights, turn left into Via S. Egidio.
- Take the 2nd left (Via de Servi), leading you into Piazza Duomo.
- Turn left and follow the road into the Via del Proconsolo. From there, take the first right into Via del Corso.
- From Via del Corso, take the 2nd right into Via S.Elisabetta, which leads you into Piazza S.Elisabetta, where Hotel Brunelleschi is situated.
