Marco waited 2 hours beyond the check-in time and greeted us with a smile. He is a wonderful host. The breakfast is at a restaurant next to Sante Croce which is approx a 5 minute walk and it is totally worth it. I think this may have been our favorite part of the stay- a hot drink and 2 delicious pastries. The breakfast makes this a super deal. The location is perfect- 10 minutes from the duomo, 20 min from either train station, plenty of restaurants nearby, laundry nearby, everything you need.

We had a very nice decorated and designed room, with a large matrimonial bed. Everything was great. This place is an apartment with 5 or 6 rooms. also 3 or 4 rooms outside the apartment but in the same floor. but this does not cause any problem. Reception is not 24 hours. free tee or coffee in the morning. We have stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and were absolutely satisfied with everything. This is actually not hotel but flats in the house. The building is situated right in the center, just five minutes walk from Duomo. Our room was really big for standard double-room with everything necessary and with its own style. Thank heaven for Marco, who met us blocks from the hotel and drove our car safely into the ztl to unload then to secure parking. While we had a superior room, unlike some others, it was huge and the best hotel we stayed in till Rome. Very secure and very close to the heart of Florence. Marco was most gracious and so very helpful in many ways. The location was good, walking distance to most of the main tourist attractions. Marko, the guy we dealt with was very accommodating. Our train out of Florence was later in the afternoon so he allowed us to leave our luggage at the B&B and use the wifi while we killed some time. Blu Notte was lovely and quiet while still being so close to all the attractions of Firenze. I highly recommend it as an economical, clean, safe and comfortable place to stay. Cleaness is fine and the hotel owner Marco is a helpful man. The room is clean and it's very convenient becuase there are a lot of stores (supermarket, restaurant, gift shop) near the hotel. Quite central and easy access to main attractions. Clean and friendly/helpful staff. The big size of the "Suite" : a complete flat for yourself. for me everything was OK. nothing. No name on the outside of the building. Perhaps difficult to find unless you know it is in the building shared with Hotel Bodoni. The breakfast is scanty, but the coffee was decent. It was slightly hard to find the location because the numbers on the building are a bit misleading. It don't have a sign on the road to find it easy. The hairdrayer works only for 10sec and stops. As soon as it is small hotel, you should inform the reception in advance what time you arrive because it can be closed. It was farther off from sites, including ponte vecchio, than I expected based on maps. Six to seven blocks seems very far in this town! Also, you're clearly in a residency neighborhood here with a major bus stop on the corner. A bit spooky at night, special for a woman walking alone. nothing. Could do with a little maintenance - leaky shower and a few cracks on the walls. We took long time to find the hotel from the train station. Marco rules. nothing. The photos are not really representing how the rooms looks, but anyhow rooms are good. No breakfast. The hotel review told me that there is a community kitchen to use. That is the main reason why I booked it. However, it is obviously not true! Yes, there is a kitchen, but which is not allowed to use for cooking anymore! The so called "kitchen" is used for drinking free coffee only in the morning in the limited time!. The room is smaller. Breakfast and quality of bed (two single mattresses joint together). Building very very noisy ! Impossible to sleep without earplugs.
