The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were immaculate. Hotel je v centru.The hotel was not your typical hotel because you had to share a bathroom but other than that it was a cozy and a cute little place to stay. It is on the third floor of an old florentine palace. Staff kindly booked us entry for the Uffizi; room was very spacious for our family of four. Location, on a quiet street near the Duomo, was excellent for seeing Florence.

The fact that we had to share the toilet bothered me at first, but once we saw how clean it was it was no problem at all. Would recommend this hotel to all my friends. The one I had was too soft for me.Breakfast was soso. A lot of steps, no elevator. Not that I didn't like it, but we both felt you were missing out on an opportunity to have a small cafe or something similar in the breakfast room - even an honesty box system for getting water, soft drinks, etc.The lack of a separate toilet was sometimes a problem as both showers/toilets could be occupied and waiting wasn't great! A lot of the review complained about the stairs but there weren't that many and you only had to climb them once with your suitcase. There was only one bathroom with one toilet for all the rooms that didnt have bathrooms to share - we found it was quiet and usually free but might be good to go for a room that has its own shower and toilet.No elevator with rooms on the third floor, lots of noise from the street until very late at night (3 am) even on a Tuesday night; complimentary continental breakfast a little disappointing. There were a lot of steps to get to our room, no lift. Very hard tofind, looked like an old abandon building from the doors outside. We hadto look for the building number on the outside of the building, not fora hotel sign.the noise at night. Lots of street noise at night. the fact that there is no lift was a little bit of a drawback. I wish there was an airconditioner in a room. I opened the window since it was very hot. I got a lot of mosqueton bites in the next morning. the draught from the windows. poor breakfast, spooky at night, no elevator; automatic lights and very big stairs outside the palace - I fell down going downstairs because the lights switched off and I missed the last step. Breakfast was basic; fresh bread rolls or croissant would have been nice. The rolls were stale (probably frozen).
