Matteo was a great host! game us a map of the city, marked all the places of interest and told how to get there. Before we arrived to Florence, we confirmed all the details (I wanted a room with a canipy bed). Also a great location of the B&B - 10-15 min from the railway station, you can get by foot or by a bus. We will definetely stay here again. Staff was amazingly nice and helpful. He gave us a map on arrival, explained good sites to visit and where the closest grocery was, gave us his cellphone number in case we need anything. The giant terrace/balcony is wonderful. No view on the Duomo though, but the view on Florence is nice enough :).

The hotel has good location, quite close to central station. The reception has good guidance in tourism, also is happy to help. Very friendly staff. They explained us everything when we arrived and gave us a map of the city that was very helpful. They also helped a lot in arranging transportation to the airport. Comfortable bed. Cleaniess was excellent, clean sheets,towels,napkins spotlessly clean everyday. breakfast tray well presented if somewhat repetitive Staff very helpful and courteous. I would still definitely recommend this bed and breakfast and would go back without a doubt :). No mosquito nets. The location was ok, but felt a little out of the way of the centre. Breakfast left something to be desired. Some toast, packaged croissant, and a pear juice was about it. Was something I would expect on an airplane, not at a B&B. The breakfast is quite simple and has not suffient choice. Also, I happen to meet its drain problem, so the bath is not good experience. But I believe this will be solved. Location close to rail station however a little far to the city center. Lack of options of restaurants nearby. Poor breakfast service. This was not really suitable for mature couples. The roof terrace mostly looks over railway sidings and busy main roads. The walk into the centre although fairly near was a bit of a difficult route through a busy tunnel. The location is close, but in a building that does not look like accommodations. There is a large gate for which you have to enter a code. Room was very small, breakfast poor, dust on the furniture. Rooms much smaller than looked on pictures. Poor breakfast. Had to be very specific about arrival time and call someone to arrange payment meeting as there was no one available at the reception. Located in not the nicest /safest area.
