The room had a lot of character and the location was amazing! The gentleman that greeted us in the evening was nice as could be and very helpful when we needed help locating things in town. The staff was wonderful. Very friendly and accomadating. The location was great. The view from our room on Piazza San Lorenzo was amazing. We will stay here again if we have the chance. Good breakfast!!! Feel like in my own home! If I go back I will choose this hotel again.Wonderful view from our larger room and good breakfast. It's very close to the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore. Excellent location near the Duomo palace. Only that the hotel and the BandB (where we stayed) are seperate buildings. This should have been made clear during booking. We are very happy that we had apparently been booked around the corner from the main hotel at the BandB (or is it dispenza?). This is only a small issue. The lift is too too small...signpost of hotel is difficult to find , a little noizy. noisy- though we asked for a quiet room. considering the price- no more complaints. noise in the night. Poor shared shower. Poor flow.

The Santa Maria Novella railway station is approximately 600 metres away from the hotel. By taxi it takes around 3 minutes. On foot, take via Panzani and follow it until via Cerretani, where the hotel is located. Just 5 minutes walking.
