Because of a late arrival at CIA airport, we had booked a simple accommodation very close to Ciampino train station reachable by a local bus (1.20 EUR one-way). If we had missed the bus, we would have had to take an over-priced taxi (20 EUR). Our plan was to take the train to Termini (1.50 EUR one-way) on the next day, which worked out OK, although there are direct bus connections from CIA to Termini (from 3.80 to 6.00 EUR one-way). all reviews » Clean and modern decorated. Very close to Ciampino Station which you can take train to Termini for 15 minutes (there's no control, no need to pay any :)) and access the city easily. It's also close to Ciampino Airport and there's shuttle bus passing in front of the hostel. Supermarket is just under the hostel and there are so many pizzerias near. - very close to bus station so you can travel from Ciampino Airport for 1,20 EUR/person (taxi costs 20EUR) - late check-in/early check-out possible - hostel, but very quiet even when sleeping in a dorm room - good idea for breakfast = coupon for coffee & croissant to nearby cafe - great value for money!. The hostel is very close to Ciampino Train Station, and to the Atral (shuttle bus from and to Ciampino Airport) bus station. I arrived at 1a.M. the girl at the reception was extremely nice. Bed was fine, toilets too. I really would recomend it. Staff was nice and helpfull. Beds were comfortable. A nice coffee and pastry in the local bar next door, which was included in the price. The bar also has internet, which is really not usual in Italy. I was really happy for that. Bed linen are clean and fresh. All is OK! Great location, just a few meters away from Ciampino train station. Very helpful and polite staff. Clean in front of the main train station. The room is spacy and nice. Nice staffs. It was really easy to get to there. Actually 30m away from the train station and sign posted. Room was very clean. The place is optimal for going to Campino, there is a bus almost in front of the B&B that in 10 min brings to to Ciampino. The B&B is one of the worst ones I have ever been, Friendliness, Zero, very little of english understanding. The room was very big with one window that couldnt be closed and it was fixed by tape and moreover in that window it was fixed the exit of the air conditioning aparatus. There must have been some insects in the bed cover because I got bitten 3 times and there. I had an early flight from Ciampiano airport and I had to stay at a close hostel to the airport. It was close to the airport however it is not easy to go to the airport if you have an early flight. The busses start at 5 or 5.30 am in Ciampiano and I had to take a taxi to the airport. It costed 20 euros. Backpackers atmosphere, location (although I thought it is a bit closer to Ciampino Airport). Location right next to Ciampino rail station. Cafe next door. Friendly staff. Large room. This place is acceptable if you need to take a flight early in the morning. courtesy and kindness of the staff. Good place for the early flights. + hotel is very close to the Ciampino Train Station - 2 minutes (from Ciampino to Roma Termini - 15 minutes by train). Just a few steps away from central station where the bus shuttle for ciampino airport starts. No chance to pay by credit card. Breakfast is just a small croissant and coffee or tea. - something hugely biten me...:/ do not know if they were bed bugs or mosquitos from nearby window but next three days of my stay in Italy was about iching all the time - to be fair, my husband didn't suffer from that, so maybe only some beds are "cursed" or maybe some people are more vulnerable. Water supply was poor in one of the showers. My second room didn't have a window. Internet didn't work when I was there. There is no public transport between Ciampino train station and Ciampino airport terminal from about 11 pm till 6 am (in work days may differ). You can use a taxi (about 20 euro) or go by foot about 40 min. So, if you have really early flight, it seems, it is easier to reach Ciampino airport terminal from Termini (central train station in Rome) by shuttle bus. Breakfast is simply a croissant and a coffee in the neighbour snack bar Ceiling needs some repairment. On the other side of Ciampino Airport, you should not miss the last shuttle (23h35). There were bed bugs. I had an allergy after that night. Since the hostel is close to Ciampiano airport you hear planes' take off and landing all night and it is also very close to a railway and you also hear the trains. I had problem while sleeping because of the noises. Absolutely unacceptable toilets/bathrooms. No toilet seats; all showers broken. When i complained the staff said they werent planning to fix anything until after summer! Bed also collapsed. I had a breakfast token and I was told that I could use it in the bar next to the hostel opening at 5am. I was there at 5.15 and the bar was closed. Also, there were no windows in the rooms - I asked to change mine and paid a supplement of 8 euros because the room were I was meant to go smelt like feet - it was unbearable. I dont know the price in Rome, but I dont consider this place cheap. 22 euros for sharing and 30 for a single use room. at night the hostel is difficult to reach from the airport. Rooms with no windows!!! the bathroom, urh.. you can imagine. that is all. - service doesn't know english well - in my room was one small window, and outside was noisy - breakfest - one small cake and coffee. Breakfast italian style (just a piece of sweet cake and a coffee in the bar next to the hostel), only three bathrooms which are not very good shape .
