  Out of all the different options we had, we (3 friends) chose an apartment managed by Biriola Holiday - mainly because of the huge number of positive reviews. Upon arriving we were greeted by Bruno, the elder statesman of the residence, who was quite simply charming. He took us around, showed us the garden at the back and told us we could help ourselves to the fresh herbs and chillis.   The location was perfect! Breakfast overlooking the aqua blue pristine waters of the Golfo d'Orosei. For service and location it was a 5 star. For upkeep and luxury in the room it was a 3 star. The toilet seat was cracked, a light bulb was out in the hallway, but everything else was very clean and comfortable. I booked on letsbookhotel.com - The hotel has a perfect location. Our room had a view over the Mediterranean with palm trees and seats on the other side of the small road outside the hotel. The road is no problem as it is very little traffic passing through. The breakfast was ok, there were eggs, biscuits, good bread, yoghurt, fruits, everything you need for a good start off the day. The hotel is very close to the beaches, wonderful. Carla Gonone is a very lovely place to stay at.

  fantastic location and staff and great service alround - we got a free room upgrade to make more space for us and our daughter staying in a separate cot, also provided by hotel free of charge - I liked the hotel. It has a lovely terrace with a beautiful seaview where you can have breakfast. The room was nice and clean. It is good value for money.
