central positioin,friendly helpful staff, sea facing balcony, air conditioning. Didnt agree with the bad reviews from other travellers. the roof top terrace! it was fantastic!. Free use of the roof terrace in the evenings. Friendly and helpful staff. Location was useful for ready access to 'centro storico', shops,cafes/restaurants and local transport. Check in and out were efficientand it was appreciated that the hotel allowed free left luggage andoffered washroom after checking out prior to transfer to airport. Staffwere friendly and courteous. Overall, perfectly comfortable and valuefor money.
all reviews » The hotel staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. There was a lovely breakfast on the outdoor terrace which had a lovely view. Central location right beside the old town. Its situation in Alghero. As a base for exploring the city it was super. Unlike some friends who stayed in places 20-25 minute walk from the city old quarter. They choose their hotels however with a view to beaches and pools.....neither of which i am interested in. The location, standard of cleanliness and friendly, helpful staff. Location, Breakfast Terrace, Sun Roof. Very friendly staff. Rooms very very clean and bedding and towels changed every day. Fridge in room is a great asset as was safe in room. Drinks in Lounge were very reasonably priced. The location of the hotel is excellent for exploring the old town ofAlghero. Feels like the 70`s. The hotel is overpriced.very hot in july and 2 km !!! walk to the part of beach with facility for hotel guests. Took us 35 mins walking to find correct part of beach.Bedroom very basic and very noisy from 7 am( street noise) Bathroom small, unpleasant smell and tiny shower cubicle in need of replacement- rusty etc. we tried using the air conditioning but after 5 minutes, each time, the electricity supply fuses tripped.-. At the time there were works going on which did give some noise problems in the morning. Smallish bathrooms and TV was aslo on the small side with only Italian programs? Simple decoration for my taste a bit old.Felt that it was overpriced. Probably partly due to the strong Euro. I was concerned to notice that the smoke detector in my room (room 310)was completely taped over with masking tape. This should be passed on tohotel given recent issues in hotels/ fires/ safety.crap minimalist cheap breakfast on an idyllic terrace with panoramic views of the old town/bay; overpriced; bad mannered night porter. gave me a key to the room that somebody was aready in, very bad mistake moved me to a room that was smaller still made me pay 112 euros not good value for that price.Pure Panic in the room when I opened the door.
