  The warm welcome by the hostess- who was very helpful with advice and tips, greeted us with fruit and almonds and did her best to make our stay enjoyable. The decor - with Lu's personal touch and attention to every detail. The spaciousness -our room was actually a small apartment.The location in a pedestrian street in the center of the old town. W... what people say » e brought our luggage in the car (Lu provides a special pass) and then drove to a nearby parking area. - I stayed in two different suites since the single room was booked the first night I arrived. I could not have had a more pleasant stay - wonderful rooms, comfortable bed, nice kitchen facilities. The owner Lia was extremely nice and very attentive, and gave me a bowl of fruit and cookies every morning to accompany the breakfast food with which she stocked the fridge. This place would be a bargain at twice the price!!

  It was very cheap and right in the centre of Agrigento. Going down a set of stairs took you right on to Via Antenea which is the main shopping street in Agrigento. The train station and bus stop to the Valley of the Temples was situated about 5 minutes walk away from the B&B. The owner is most gratious and did everything possible to ensure a memorable stay for us and other guests. A family run Italian restaurant he recommended in Favara (King Bar) was very authentic and non-touristy. The staff was nice and helpful. No issue when we arrived later in the evening. Officially they should not serve any breakfast, however, we got a special voucher to a local pastry-shop where we had delicious sweets and coffee. We were really satisfied.

Found there were 3 flights of stone steps to the front door and were beginnin to struggle up with our luggage when one of our hosts suddenly appeared and scooped up the suitcases and led us up - turns out they have close circuit tv for this very purpose - bless em. Great for transport to the Valley of the Temples, a short walk to the centre - The B&B staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is good to explore Agrigento. We had a fantastic view of the sea from our balcony. The breakfast was very organised and you choose your breakfast the day before and it is served in your room. My friend is a celiac and the B &B owner brought her gluten free products for her breakfast. You cannot park next to the hotel because it is down some steps, but we parked for free not to far away and were given good instructions from the B
