We were in town for our son's wedding, and the hotel staff simply couldn't do enough to help us through the chaos of out-of-town visitors in mass. The rooms were clean, modern, and pleasant The view from the west side of the building is spectacular. The morning breakfast was an absolute delight. 5-stars would be an understatement. The very nice renovated rooms and the friendly staff made the stay superb.Splendid breakfast! Stayed here many times for business purpose and I can recommend it as such. Location close to the "German Colony" is ideal and a ride up the mountain by metro with the metro station just behind the corner brings things close by. Absolutely fabulous and elegant!! Several claims on the webpage were incorrect - the 'onsite' parking was in fact street parking beside the hotel. The 'free shuttle to the Baha'i Gardens' did not yet exist, the triple room was way too small for the cot-bed they added for our 15 year old. They also could not offer us a map of Haifa, so we had to rely on internet maps. That said, they did try to accommodate our requests - they provided us a taxi instead of the free shuttle to the Gardens, and the parking turned out to be ok. The staff is not very nice nor helpful, especially the guy in the morning ( I think he is the manager). They don't have an attitude to help the clients. Not much touristic information available. Location not dangerous but not beautiful,. Far from most of the main attractions in Haifa. Poor service on reception, no parking. Although there was a parking spot available on the street when I arrived, it was probably the last one and made me wonder what would have happened if I came later. When I was leaving early the next morning, someone else was waiting for my spot. It was not so easy finding the hotel, even with a gps. Not the hotel's fault, but perhaps I should have spent more time planning the route. Something I learned is especially necessary visiting Israel if you are from another country for the first time. One guy at the front desk. Check-in took a while. I reserved a Deluxe room and when I checked out I realized they had me in a standard room which was extremely small. So if you are meduim or larger, this hotel is not for you!! The hair dryer didn't work, after a long while they sent me to an unmade room to dry my hair with used towels in the rest- room from a previous guest!!!!.
