Nicola and Eamon were very welcoming. The rooms were stylish and well
appointed with everything you could need. Breakfast was delicious,
served hot and Nicola kept the toast coming....as much as we wanted. The
house is a a fair distance from Kilkenny but with a car it is no problem
and Nicola will tell you where to park and where to find the great

eateries around the town. We loved Newlands Country House and highly
recommend it for a warm, comfortable stay. -
Very nice place, only a 5 minute drive away from the city centre of Kilkenny.
Everything was clean. We 've got a little bottle of water every day and there was tea and coffee , and some biscuits, on the room.
Very friendly host!
Would recommend it.

The B&B has a meticulous attention to detail externally and
internally. Very clean, beautiful and comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast
and in a silent area. If you have a car it's better to stay here
rather than in the city of Kilkenny that is just 10 min drive. Excellent
value for money. Very close to Ballykeefe Quarry and Wood (3 km) that

Pat met us at the door with a warm welcome. He was friendly and efficient. We had a busy weekend and booked an 8am breakfast on Sunday morning which was ready and waiting for us at 8am which was much appreciated. A taxi was unavailable and Pat came to the rescue and gave one of our group a lift into the city with no fuss (or charge) at all. He saved the day and we will return next year to stay again. Very clean and a choice of breakfast - Irish or continental - whichever we wanted!
