  This Guest House is absolutely SPOTLESS. Comfortable beds, good shower, beautiful guest sitting room,parking, 15 minute walk to town, access to garden,lovely hosts, tea/coffee making facilities in our room, hairdryer and plenty of electrical sockets for our own gadgets. There is a limited selection for breakfast so some may find that a negative. H... what people say » owever, for the price, I thought it was adequate. Selection of 4-5 cereals, fruit salad, yoghurt, choice of fruit juices. Also choice of hot breakfast - Asked, at the breakfast table, what I would like for breakfast I answered that I usually started my days with a cup of coffee and a croissant. My landlady explained that she had no croissants but if I did not mind waiting a few minutes she would send out for one! During the three nights I stayed I was asked on several occasions if everything was 'OK' and if there was anything further I would like.

  Lovely views over the Shannon from the bedrooms. Unfortunately I didn't have the best view due to the window being small but my friends beside me had! I loved the easy parking which removed alot of potential stress The service as breakfast was superb and the staff couldn't have been nicer - The room was very clean and spacious with great views.... what people say » The reception area was amazing and I fell in love with it straight away. The breakfast area was amazing also. We were given a wide selection of food to choose from which was cooked perfectly and the staff couldn't do enough for us.

  We found the owners extremely helpful. We had been unsure of arrival time and they were willing to accommodate us in any way. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner and he showed us to our room which turned out to be a lovely apartment. We requested an extra early breakfast, a good selection offered. Breakfast was delightful and we left hopi... what people say » ng that some day we would get the chance to stay again. Located in a lovely part of the country - Met us at the door, very helpful and friendly, showed us the room, made sure we were warm and gave us directions to local places we would be able to get food at such a late hour. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Only sorry we were only staying 1 night - would definitely go back.

  Lovely warm welcome. Stayed with my wife and six month old daughter. The owner couldn't have done more to ensure our stay was comfortable. Left a microwave in our room so we could sterilise bottles for the baby. Got us a high chair for her to sit in during breakfast, which was delicious and set us up brilliantly for the day. Great location only a short stroll from town centre, Riverside & supermarket. - The hospitality and friendliness of Peter and Helen was fantastic. We have never stayed in a guest house that had proprietors that were as helpful and accommodating before. The breakfast was superb and we would rank it of equal if not higher standard than the best of hotels. The room was spacious. Clean and very comfortable. We liked the private access to our room and how each room opened directly into a garden and patio are. It is our intentions to return in the summer if not before.

  These houses are located just off the Main Street so ideal location for access to carrack! Having two bathrooms was handy, and a huge kitchen was ideal for the large group we stayed with. Lovely big garden out the back. Would recommend to large groups using as a place to sleep...not a luxury place for spending days watching tv or relaxing!!
