  Joyce and Michael were wonderful hosts, very informative and attentive. The room was comfortable and very clean, with a view out over the garden and lake. it was chilly when we were there and a pleasant fire was always burning in the fireplace. Michael and Joyce keep a lot of animals (outdoors), including horses, canaries, finches, quail, and chic... what people say » kens. - Very welcoming - made to feel like a member of the family! Beautiful house Fantastic lakeside location Lovely breakfast Offered drinks on arrival Lots of banter and anecdotes! - Michael & Joyce were terrific hosts? Lovely breakfasts. A very pleasant stay. Loved the local fish pie, recommended by Michael. Tricky to find but well worth the effort.
