  Delicious complimentary scones and coffee on arrival. Delicious breakfast. Listening to the curlew call and the sound of the sea late at night and the birds in the morning. The owner drove us into Midleton to have dinner so we could leave car behind. - Loughcarrig House is in a lovely location set in its own large grounds overlooking Cobh harbour... what people say » .   Fab house with plenty of character and really cosy and warm. Room was amazing with wonderful antique furniture, so unique compared to many modern soul-less sterile hotels and accommodation - yet does have modern conveniences such as wi-fi !
