Due to missed flights, I arrived very late on my check-in day (almost midnight). They were waiting for me and I wish to pass on great thanks and kudos to Larry who even went to the kitchen to make me a sandwich. Many thanks too to Annette and others on the desk the next day who did all they could to help me track down lost luggage. I am very grateful and impressed. Right in the centre of the town, the staff were very helpful with regards to parking and tourist information. There was a breakfast in bed option for just €5 extra, which was most welcome to us.

It is an ideal hotel to stay in because it is right in the centre of Killarney town.I liked the fact it was very close to anything i needed. decoration of the room was lovely. central to pubs and restaurants. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was good. We liked hearing the music from outside. The location was excellent.The room was luxurious,the staff were friendly and the location was central, which was fantastic. Location in the town. Very modern hotel!. I would wholeheartedly reccommend it to anybody going to Killarney. It is absolutly smack bang in the centre of Killarney and within walking distance of tourist attractions, restaurants and the nightlife.In the centre of town, but still lovely and quiet. Easy to go out andabout at night. Nothing to much trouble for them. the convenience to town centre, free parking and everything in general was very satisfactory. the pleasantness of the staff the rooms were excellent and the breakfast was great. I had difficulty sleeping because of the noise outside the window. I think it may be a boiler house. Too noisy, constant loud music. a little hard to find, as the main entrance to the hotel is in a pedestrianized street. - a bit pricey, but average for Ireland economy.The room we got was old fashioned and not like the ones shown on the website. It was clean and comfortable though. Website showed beautiful modern style rooms which we thought we'd bookedbut these were not available when we arrived. Room was very nice andcomfortable - but not as shown. (Low season and some facilities wereclosed). Could do with better signage for the Hotel and the invaluablecar parking.Restaurant not open as the hotel was so quiet. late night eating not really any options. The first room we were assigned was in the "old" part of the hotel which was noisy, old fashioned decor in the rooms, run down interior and bathroom. After complaining we got assigned a new room which was excellent. The hotel provided entertainment was outside and was a little noisy at times however it did not disturb us too much. It would have good to have been warned about this in advance.Really should be easier to find with more signage visible from the road. We considered arriving late but glad that we didn't as it would be even harder to find in the dark. The fact that the car park is not accessible from inside the hotel. It was hard to get a plain sandwich after 7p.m.terrible entertainment (band). The only thing we found about the hotel was that the room was very warm. Hotel was fantastic, however the floor staff were less than helpful. the checking in staff and the bar staff could not have been nicer. However the staff that work on the floor of the hotel were rude and some could not understand us as their english was poor. Hotel was very noisy due to live music outside. No mention of this at booking. 1 thing I expect from any hotel I stay in is a reasonable night’s sleep. Scott’s did not provide this. We were staying in one of the new rooms, the bathroom vent would not go off, the room was so cold I put my coat on when I got into the room. The main lift was out of order so we had to go through the restaurant part to get to the back elevator by the back kitchen door . I would certainly not be rushing back to this hotel.

Important information to guests

A security deposit of EUR 250 per apartment is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation. Please note that due to music in the Courtyard from April to October; these apartments are not suitable for families with small children. Please note that apartments are strictly non-smoking, there are designated areas in the Courtyard area.
