Information about the area
The houses are located just a short stroll (15 minutes) from Kenmare town centre with its wonderful selection of restaurants, traditional bars and shops. There is a great selection of pubs and late night bars to choose from with many featuring live music from traditional Irish to rock and modern styles.
Kenmare lies approximately 30 minutes drive from a host of sandy beaches and it has a very pretty harbour from which you can swim, fish or take a trip on the 'Seafari Cruise' to view the wildlife in the area. Kayaking, sailing, canoeing, hill walking, children’s playground, golf, diving, horse-riding and bicycle hire are also available in the area.
Kenmare is known as the jewel in the Ring of Kerry. It lies between two of the most beautiful touring routes in Europe - the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara - ensuring very enjoyable day trips from Kenmare.
Killarney is a 40 minute drive and Cork City is just over an hour's drive.

Travelling information
By Car:
From Limerick or Cork:
- Take the N22 to Castleisland.
- Continue on the N23 to Farranfore.
- Then take the N22 to Killarney.
- At the first roundabout turn left onto the Ring Road for Cork.
- Continue towards Cork for approximately 12 miles.
- Turn right onto the R569 for Kenmare, passing through Kilgarvan (if travelling from Cork, turn left onto the R569).
- Sheen View Holiday Homes are located on the left-hand side just before the GAA pitch & Golf Club when you’re approaching Kenmare Town. They are well signposted.
From Killarney:
- Take the N71 – Scenic Ring of Kerry Road to Kenmare.
- On approach to the town you will pass by The Kenmare Bay Hotel on your right-hand side & Centra Petrol Station on your left.
- Keep going straight up through Kenmare town passing by Quills Woolen Mill on your left & AIB Bank on your right.
- Take a left out of town passing Kenmare Golf Club on your right.
- You will find Sheen View Holiday Homes on the right-hand side. They are well signposted.
