Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Everything was clean and nice. The staff lent me an electrical adapter when mine would not work quite right in the outlet. Directions and advice about laundry were great!! Centrally located made this a great option. I had recent knee surgery and appreciated the fact that there is an elevator. The food was good and reasonably priced. The live music was also a plus.
all reviews » Room was one of the best we had in Ireland. We had a triple and the room was large as was the bathroom. Recent upgrades and very functional for guests. Elevator made it very easy. Didn't hear any noise from late night bar singing. Super location right in the middle of Kenmare. Parking was easy on the street right outside hotel. The massive bright room with huge double beds. The young man who checked us in was very friendly, and the lady who did check out was great. Also, because there was a minor issue with hot water, she gave us a reduced rate. This was a small but very effective gesture and for that reason I'd have no problem returning and recommending!. Exceptionally clean and nice. Friendly staff went out of their way to lend me an electrical adapter when mine wouldn't work well in their outlet. Also gave great advise regarding directions so we could do our laundry. Good food at a reasonable price. Great live entertainment. Loved the location right in the middle of town. Large room for family with 2 teenagers. Best shower in Ireland and heated tile in bathroom. Staff was very friendly. The pub was packed and very fun. We had no trouble sleeping although the party kept going after we went to bed. We had a lovely bank holiday weekend, used Kenmare as our base for walks and exploring the Ring of Kerry. The hotel had a great location in centre of Kenmare, relaxing small hotel with lovely rooms and welcoming staff. Loads of good restaurants and pubs steps away. comfort and heat in the rooms also the cleaniness was top class... breakfast also outstanding with great selection and friendlessness of the staff top class... very central to everything as well great bonus...thank you for the great 2 nights we stayed there. Our room was first class, staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a proper meal not something cooked at dawn. Nightly entertainment was best I have seen for a long time. Portions for evening meal are very large so be sensible. The rooms were a great size and spotless. the staff were great and the breakfast was lovely. The entertainment was excellent. Spacious, tastefully deocrated rooms with all facilities you may need, air conditioned, in the heart of the town, many great pubs in the vicinity, only 10min walk from the beach. This place is surprisingly updated with large rooms and really great bar and restaurant and musical entertainment. And nicely central to the active town area. We loved it!. 3 adults guests . Room was advertised with a flat screen TV. No TV - it was out for service and we were not told this when we booked the room. We asked for a courtesy discount as not all room amenities were provided. One small negative is a loose pinching toilet seat. only small problem was trying to get parking in the back of the b an b was bit tricky as well as the townwebsite. I am struggling to find a fault and I will definitely be staying there again and would recommend it to all my friends. nothing to dislike. Parking was a bit tight but ok and doable. Breakfast was not included in room price. Maybe only difficult to park the car. The pub wasn't very friendly, packed with locals and it was Easter Sunday evening. But the absolute least friendly pub in all of Ireland. We asked the night porter for access to drinking water, only to be told we could drink from the the bathroom tap, not acceptable from a otherwise great stay and actually other excellent service staff. Nothing, it was perfect. Only small but compared to other similar accomodation. 165 euro for 3 adults was a bit pricey. It was out of season so there was no live music but it looked as if it'd be a lively place in season. Not as much character to the place as you might get in a 'homely' B&B but it was clean and comfortable. There was nothing to not like. Breakfast was not included, although we went to the "pig-something for breakfast and had a great time. not a thing. very little choice for breakfast. The headboard on our bed was smashed it didn't look good and would not cost much to repair. The noise from the other rooms. Walls were very thin!. Nothing. nothing we didn'T like. No tea/coffee in the room Just 4 channels on TV Just few options for vegetarian breakfast. Lack of atmosphere in Bar. Bar staff mopping floor whilst customers still there !. Noise from room next door & patio.
