  Paul, the host, was very welcoming and helpful - way beyond the call of duty. I was there to walk but the weather was very bad on my first morning so he offered me a lift to Donegal. The room was very clean and comfortable - good hotel standard - and the breakfast was lovely. The kitchen facilities were excellent for anybody wishing to self-ca... what people say » ter. There was a lovely open fire to greet me in the morning and evening even though I was the only resident at one stage. Super location. - We received a very friendly welcome at the B&B. Paul was very helpful and gave us lot's of detail about things in the area. As we arrived 20 minutes prior to the local restaurant closing, Paul called to advise the restaurant about us arriving. The B&B is located in a beautiful rural area, very close to the Silver Strand Beach. It was the ideal place to stay during our trip through Donegal. The room was a bit dated but perfect for our needs.

  Wow! Had read reviews before i went and couldn't find one bad one - and now i know why! A home from home - only with Frank on hand to clean and set the fire each day. Not luxury accommodation, but spotlessly clean and had everything i needed (mind you the kitchen sink was the only thing i had forgotten!). There is also a well stocked grocery store... what people say » directly across the road. Probably not the best place to be without a car - very remote , but lots of scenic places to visit within driving distance, - Frank, the owner, is a lovely man and so very welcoming and helpful. I had walked there and he allowed me into my room early and was full of useful information and advice. When leaving he gave me a lift for my bus in Glencolumbkille. The facilities are spotlessly clean and the furnishings and bed linen of a high standard. Lovely kitchen facilities and a roaring fire. A useful shop opposite. Hostel in a beautiful location and close to a stunning beach.

  Great location to end a tour of Donegal's South coastline, close to Slieve League. Walking distance to the beach, great for a walk at sunset, and to a nice restaurant.
