all reviews » What's not to like at the Four Seasons? Beautiful hotel. Impeccable service and furnishings. Amazing restaurant with reasonable prices. It's not the cheapest hotel, but if you're looking for unparalleled luxury, from the moment you enter your room and see a plate of fresh and very delicious macaroons laid out for you, then this is the place! We took my mother in law and stayed in a family suite and had a great time enjoying the furnishings and macaroons and having fun in the bar/restaurant toge. Liked the leisure centre, its a shame the sauna/steamrooms are gender separated as whole idea of luxury break is to spend time with your partner. Special mention for a floor staff member Garreth Condell, excellent prospect for the hotel management in the future I hope hes treated well. Very friendly check in staff. Porter gave me a good guided tour of the room on arrival. Breakfast buffet is very substantial Nice swimming pool and gym area even though I did not get time to use them. As a confirmed reservation I should be able to enjoy the restaurant. I still think the colour scheme of the room is very chintzy and really could do with a bit more of a modern look. Minor niggles - was told I had been given a smoking room, but no ashtrays were provided. There are no tea / coffee making facilities in the room. It's expensive, but I guess in line with the standard of accommodation - and Dublin overall is not cheap. The breakfast was priced at £30.00 . the location, it is little far from the shopping and fun areas. Very expensive - for the price would expect a few extras like free wifi, a kettle and a bottle of water. Bar/lounge staff quite poor lost or forgot orders, very slow on service, very nice though. Adjoining rooms made our first night a bit noisy and the room service food was not of a great standard. Nothing. We couldn't stay longer!. Breakfast was lovely but staff seemed a bit disorganised. Service quite slow. It would have been nice to have two comfortable chairs instead of the one with footrest (it's good to relax and talk at the end of the day). Although eager to help the staff were not efficient. We were a long time waiting fur things we ordered and our bags were left outside for over an hour. The speed of service in the bar/ restaurant area was appallingly slow. The worst we have ever experienced in a hotel of that or any quality. the food would have been excellent if it had been served hot enough. Nothing we cudnt fault the place it was one of my dreams to stay there and wasnt dissapointed. Nothing. When staying at a 5 star hotel one does not expect to be nickeld and dimed for internet access. I was amazed to find that I was expected to pay 25 euro/30 dollars for wifi. This practice was the norm in the 90's as hotel rooms had to be hard wired, but this is the 21st century and we all know what internet service costs therefore I was horrified at the rate they attempted to extort from me.
