Clifden has become quite built up so it's nice to stay outside the town and get a flavour of what it used to be like. The views from the house are beautiful and the owners are pleasant and engaging without being intrusive. The cliffside location with views over the sea inlet was superb. The breakfasts were freshly prepared to order and the dining area was attractive. The hosts were charming and well informed on local topics of interest.
