  This is so much more than just an expensive place to stay. You are in a family compound and are treated as such. They make sure you are comfortable and look after you. A few days after I arrived, I thought I had an infection on my foot (new tattoo in New Zealand). They encouraged me to go to the clinic.   The staff are very welcoming and helpful. It is a family-run stay and the owner has very interesting designs for his courtyard which is a bonus to the stay. The better rooms are on 2nd floor, spacious and relaxing, and according to my mom the experience of resting on the coach and watching sunset from the balcony is serene (I missed it as I was en... what people say » joying a nap).   Nice central location, can walk to most of the local sights...Was a little difficult to find to start with, perhaps using the "Lane" name in the address as well would be helpful. Lovely and quiet but so close to restaurants, attractions and shopping. The kids are a little noisy sometimes, but they're always having fun...it was nice watching them... what people say » running around the property without a care in the world :) - When we arrived we got an Upgrade for a Bungalow. The stuff was very nice and i really liked the style of the balinese Bungalows!
