Amazing view of the rice fields, free Wifi, comfortable and spacious rooms and great service from Gusti, Operations Manager and Sujana, Guest Relations Officer - they go the extra mile even when I requested for babi guling for lunch even when it was not on the menu! The owner, who lives 100m down the road, pops by every day to mingle with guests and feed his pet birds at the villa's beautiful reception area. The villa just opened in Jan 2013, so the rooms are still in good condition and the poo.
all reviews » From the second we arrived to the second we left, we were in heaven. The staff were wonderful - attentive and friendly but also left us to relax. The villa was incredible - lovely design, spacious and clean. The outdoor bathroom was excellent as was the gorgeous pool. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxed but not isolated. The villas are in a remote location but with great ease, we were driven into Ubud every afternoon/evening. Absolutely loved every minute. Oh, and incredible value for money. The hotel is absolutely worth more than what we paid, me and my friends were too excited to see the rooms and the private pool and we almost scream!! The hotel staff were friendly, we even use their phone to contact our driver and they didn't charge us. In the morning they will send us the breakfast to our room! Feels like a king! Haha. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The Manager of the Hotel also made a point of meeting with us personally to ensure that our stay was an enjoyable one. Clean rooms, great design, private pool, breakfast served in your villa, located just out of the city so its quiet but easy to get to shops and restaurants. I also like the design of the toilet. Big villa with 3 bedrooms and pool. Can hear the sound of waves all day long. Not accessible to the city centre by foot or bicycle, so you are dependent on the villa's transport. But it is fairly cheap. Menu serves mainly Western cuisine, and is not fantastic. Best to eat out and sample Ubud's amazing food. Because it's relatively new, rooms are not quite complete eg. A bench for suitcases, coffee machine/coffee sachets, a working kitchenette. Nothing. not enough choices for the food menus. Overall design is good but the finish is a bit rough. Bathroom is a bit too open which is only good for couple. Too open bathroom. Our villa was located on the side which paddy field was not planted yet. It' 15 mins away from Ubud and hotel only have car to go there 12:00 and 14:00, go back at 14:30. So it's not convenient. The same reason, sometimes we have to eat in the hotel, but not so many food choice. Very far from Ubud main town and shuttle service was only 2 a day. Should be free shuttle service due to location. The huge vessels make the space in the dinning room small. No coat hangers, no sun loungers, no menu in villa, no tea/coffee making facilities, distance from Ubud town. The breakfast needs serious improvement. It is not very tasty, but still edible. Only simple food (fried rice e.g.) served during dinner time (till 8pm). Very poorly maintained. Run down villa. Lots of spider webs in the ceiling and furnitures. Kitchen stuffs are very old.
