We really enjoyed our stay here. We had the large room at the back of the compound overlooking the creek and forest. It has a large double bed, small table/chairs, separate bathroom and toilet and small kitchen at the rear of the apartment. There was also spring water, a refrigerator and bottled drinks (at local prices) for the convenience of guests.

The staff at Suastika were above and beyond anything I would ever expect from a B & B or hotel staff. During my stay, I contracted a bad case of gastroenteritis. Not only did the ladies of Suastika take care of me (making me rice pudding, calling the doctor, giving me their own herbal remedies, giving me a nicer room, etc), they treated me like family. As a single female traveler who was very sick in a foreign country, it was truly comforting to know I had someone looking out for me. The .
Friendly, homely environment, great breakfast. The owners Yanik and Made were very attentive and friendly. They greeted us by our taxi and personally carried our luggage to our villa. When we mentioned an interest to buy art, we were put in contact with the owner's brother - who was extremely helpful, staying with us an entire half day until we made a purchase we liked. It is possible to rent bikes at very good rates if you want to go around ubud on your own. The area is very good for buying ar.
Had a wonderful time at Suastika Guesthouse. Yanni and Made are wonderful hosts and take great care of their guests. If you want a peaceful setting in a garden--this is it! The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet; the bathroom was also clean and spacious. Breakfast was great and staff were lovely and always kept the room spotless! Would definitely stay here again!.
Its more like a home-stay B&B. The staff and family operating the place are very friendly. The rooms are new, huge and very clean. Its a bit away (15min) walk to the main street Jalan Ubud raya, but that makes it more quite and relaxing.
Overall a good experience and will defnitely book it again if we go back to ubud!.
The family/staff was remarkably hospitable and helpful. One of the owners works at the tourist information so you might get a special treatment.

Lovely home-stay accommodations. Extremely comfortable beds, clean room and bathroom, lovely breakfast, safe place, and friendly, customer-oriented owner and staff. Close enough to the center of Ubud via a 10-15 minute walk, yet far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle.
Nice chill place. Breakfast is brought to your front porch in the mornings and it's decent. Very nice sitting out in the garden having breakfast in the mornings. Located a good walk from the main street. The bungalows were nice, clean. Staff are excellent - friendly and helpful.
The hotel is at a walking distance from Ubud Center, the familie is very friendly and the room are simple but very clean, you do not need more if your plan is to be during the day walking around Ubud. Breakfast is great and all in all we lived our time here.
We were lucky and had an upgrade. Our room was great. It was in a quiet area. Staff was awesome even if they seemed to have difficulty to get going with breakfast in the morning which was a bit of a problem when we had a tour booked.
Excellent service; we were warmly welcomed and taken in as family. We
enjoyed the spacious clean room, we loved the breakfast and surroundings
and found it easy to walk to the centre in about 5-10 minutes.

It is real family hotel, the hotel owner and the family is very friendly and warm-heart. The rooms are in a beautiful tropical garden, and the location is 15 min walk to Ubud center. They offer and also arrange the car renting and other possible activities. A best choice for low-budget traveler.

Could have been slightly cleaner. Someone did clean the rooms every day and sweep the floors, and it was comparable to other places I have stayed in Indonesia, but not spotless.
