Beach Resort Marjoly is a 30-minute drive from Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport and a 40-minute drive from Tanjung Pinang’s city area. Bintan’s resort area is a 1-hour drive away while Singapore can be reached by an hour's ferry ride.

Very tranquil spot ideal to recover for a few days from a stressful business trip to Singapore. There is no entertainment, nothing left or right, only a hammock where you can hang out with a book. The lodge has only 7 huts standing in the sand, huts are equipped with mosquito net and useful furniture but has only cold water. Indonesian Food available in the open restaurant at reasonable prices.

Really enjoyed two nights there. The friendliness and attention to customer by the owner and staff: we were picked up and accompanied to the ferry terminal (Tanjung Pinang) The setting at an isolated beach with huts and hammocks, few people and real contact with nature The bungalows with private patio, directly on the beach, are simple but spacious. Such lovely employees. The atmosphere is intimate and laid-back. Good food (and very reasonably priced). It is a peaceful and relaxing place, in a nice setting right by the beach. Very unspoilt and friendly, I liked the fact it was uncommercialised and closer to the real Indonesia. Friendly staff, very helpful. Good food at the restaurant. Very quiet place. love the beach. Nature. The sea is very shallow, not more than 80 cm deep, not convenient for swimming. Recommendation:- 1. Arrange for masseur on demand. Nice beach but too shallow for swimming. You can swim only at morning. Then the water goes down far far away. And there is no any restaurants etc. near. Its good and bad thing. The beach is dominated by tides and swimming is not good The first bungalow where we stayed was populated by ants, but then we asked to change and our request was promptly satisfied and the next bungalow was free of ants. So this is not really a bad point, because the efficiency of the staff compensated. It wasn't very clean at all, and no cleaning of rooms during the stay, no change of towels etc. Various problems (cable, internet and a/c not working, toilet had no water, and after that it got clogged). It is very rustic. Also, although lovely to gaze upon, this is not a great place for swimming. Food OK but not great. There is not much to do near by. They offer drive to Agro Beach which is great. However when we asked them to go a bit further to visit some friends they didn't mentionned that we have to pay. I just found the $10 ride not really fair... lack of facilities need to improve on the cleanliness. Sheets might have been cleaner.
