Staff are extremely friendly and warm-hearted though sometimes it's a bit hard to communicate with them in English. The rooms at Aston are great, clean and with a beautiful view of the swimming pool. The service they provided was very good. The Staff was excellent, i would rate them a 9/10 for the customer service. Nice place for relaxation with family. Pool is great and the staff is friendly. Clean room. Sure to come back again.

We had a generally good and pleasing stay with Aston, we came home relaxed and destressed as we hope for. There were a couple highlights on our stay at Aston. First was Evin, who took care of our transpo needs the whole stay. He was very courteous and welcoming, from the moment he picked us up from the pier and until we left, and was even apologetic when he knew that some taxi drivers wanted us to take their cab and ditch the hotel pick up, in a way, saying bad things about Aston. Most of all, . Staffs were very nice and attentive.Would go the extra mile if needed to. Harry who picked us up was very friendly. I liked the pool. near airport. The staff are very accommodating. However, we stayed during CNY break so some things were overlooked. We had a problem establishing communication with the staff sometimes but at least they try their best to serve :). the facility is OK and room are confortable.... good for business trips. staff are nice, clean 服務非常好，飯店乾淨. Room clean. It's a bit far away from both the bbt ferry terminal and beaches. It is the main shortfall because you need to get out of the hotel for most of the activities. My recommendation is to book this hotel only if you cannot get a resort. Booking taxis from the hotel is more expensive from doing it yourself, allegedly. There's no nearby restaurants. The almost only choice is to eat at its own restaurant if you do not want to take a long ride to other hotels or resorts. The food was a bit expensive, but free breakfast was good. A bit too far from the town. Staff not focus on replenishment at breakfast eg. No bread and butter. Tables not cleared. Too far away from the beach. Quite expensive to make trips to do any sea activities. Recommended to travel via Tanjung Pinang Ferry terminal which is 15 minutes away. Sepong Ferry terminal is 1 hr 15 min away. Costs around s$60 for a one way trip. Opted for a pick up but driver wasnt there when we reached at the ferry terminal.Had to take another driver because of that but luckily wasnt put on our bill as it was the hotels flaws. two phone calls woke us up, one when we went to bed early, confirming the early trip to the city, another about a deposit we already made. we talked to the tour desk, arranged a tour, then just ended up sitting and waiting for an hour w no explanation. bed are too small , we need wider one (120cm at least) for twin beds room. The food is just so-so, the pool is not what i have expected. it is not lukewarm and during our stay, it is a bit cold so you cannot use the pool for a relaxing swim. The location is quite far from Bintan Resorts, it takes two hours and they will charge you for everything including local calls. it is totally wrong place for holidays.... there is nothing around the hotel and you always have to travel 1 hour by car, at expensive rate, to reach any place where you can leisure. soundproof terribly bad! Though our room located at 2 floor, my husband and I kept hearing the music coming from club of basement VERY LOUD cannot fall asleep WHOLE NIGHT. Check in room not ready till about 5 pm,room should be charge in sing dollar instead of idr rp which is more,shuttle to city not provided .
