  My time at villa karisa was just outstanding! It is so peaceful and quiet there the rooms are comfortable, clean and have a great Balinese style. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach and close to shops and restaurants all of seminyak is a short taxi ride away or a walk along the beach.   I liked that it was cheap, only cost $118 for 3 nights for two people twin share. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. The location was ok being on the road towards the beach (10 min walk if that). Takes 10 min taxi ride to Kuta (80,000 rph). It was also a quiet area in terms of the street and the beach.   The atmosphere of Casa Artista is brilliant! We loved our room, the pool, food and the staff. And we learned the basics of the tango as the owner is a huge fan of this dance.   We stayed for 3 nights in this hidden gem. The staff exceeded our expectations by far from the very first night. The moment we arrived, I lost my phone in the taxi with no receipt and since then the receptionists kept on trying to reach out to the driver every day. They concerned more than I did. Additionally, our room was so cozy, clean and comfo... what people say » rtable, that it instantly felt like home. The hotel was perfectly situated in a not too noisy area but still near restaurants, shops, bars, clubs and - I came with my sister, We got standard room. From the first time we arrived, the staff greet us nicely, they even offer us so many things. Very helpful when we asked many questions. while Nyepi, we stayed all day, and they still served food, the food were great!! very comfy and relax place, although not very big, good for family too.... inside the room, so many electricity plugs available, makes it easier for us, also plenty tables to put stuffs.
