On our first visit to Bali we got it right by staying at RC Villas. We were met by helpful, attentive Ketut and his staff who continued to be so throughout our stay. The villa was perfect. Plenty of space and facilities, large air-conditioned bedroom with king size bed and large mozzie net. Semi-outdoor living with a fabulous private pool and lush garden. Pool was very clean and checked every day. Location was perfect being close to Seminyak Square, shops and market. Excellent 5 sta.
all reviews » Our stay at RC villas was excellent. We enjoyed the villa a lot, the swimming pool in the villa was great and our 6 year old daughter did not want to come out of the pool at all. It was extremely comfortable and relaxing. Location is fanatstic - very close to the beach, to shopping district and numerous eating places. Mr. Kedut - the manager at RC villas was very helpful in arranging a car with a driver for us to see around Bali and we had fantastic day from 8am to 8pm seeing major sightseeings. The villas are very quiet and private and yet only a 2 minute walk from Seminyak Square. Ketut and his staff were friendly and attentive, providing a wonderful and plentiful breakfast and helping me out to make phone calls. The villa has everything one could need - good air conditioning, a wonderful outside shower with a rain head and a lovely clean pool, which I enjoyed. It was my birthday whilst I was staying at the villa and the staff provided a cake and helped make it a special day for me -. -The Staffs there are all very helpful and polite. -They go all way out to assist you in special request such as I was celebrating my partner's birthday and they decorated the room with a complimentary cake. -The Villa is spacious and really private -No hidden cost -Daily Housekeeping are done nicely and refresh it well when you come back. -Daily Breakfast with good quantity although options are a little limited. The location was very convenient; within 2-minutes walking distance to Seminyak Square, and 5-minutes walking distance to Ku de Ta. Ketut and all staff were friendly and polite. Unlike the other reviews about personal space, we did not get interruptions from Ketut and his staff. We were spoilt by the number of choices for baths and showers. There was a bathtub, shower room and outdoor rain shower in the villa. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and spoke English well. Even though there was work going on, did not affect us at all. Rooms attended to daily. Pool great. Breakfasts really nice. Enough food to put a little aside for lunch or snack. Would recommend RC Villas for couples and families. Though be careful with small children as pool very deep. RC Spa next door great for massage too. Everything was so good that I didn't feel like leaving. The staff are excellent, very friendly and very willing to help. Villa was big with good facilities. Very clean and well maintained. Would stay there again for my next visit. Really highly recommend to everyone who are planning a trip to Bali. Best villa i have stayed in so far for the amount of money paid. The location was excellent and all the staff were lovely and really helpful. We were picked up from airport by Wayan and he took us out for the day later during our stay. He was brilliant very interesting and showed us lots of fantastic places, he was also really good fun.Would thoroughly recommend him!!!. We booked 2 person villa for four days, it was perfect. Great staff, great location and great breakfast. The villa was perfect, spacious and private. The outdoor living area was perfect for relaxing when it was raining, and the gardens are pretty. Location, size of the villa, private pool. The location was good. None. I would have liked a tv in the bedroom which is the only air conditioned room, but this is a small detail. There is a big flat screen tv in the lounge area. -Swimming Pool is a standard depth thus if you have kids or non-swimmers, it might be a little challenging. (Will be better with slightly shallower pool) -Too many keys within the Villa thus can be a little of hassle to bring around when you are outside -No room services (It will be good to have room services with charges applies definitely). The wifi was not good enough. Nothing to do with RC Villas, but the footpaths in Seminyak at the time we were there weren't very good, especially walking down them at night time. Quite dangerous in fact. Pool area a looked a bit tired but I guess they do not get much chance to deal with it. Was not a problem though. Mosquitos!. Nothing bad to say they had a little construction on at the time we were there but it did not interfere with our stay at all and when finished it will look great. Nothing. Some new building work going on, which did not affect our relaxation at all, in fact we were intrigued and amazed by the skills of the stone cutter who was creating a beautiful carving for the new lobby. A Balinese artist in action. Nothing!! It is paradise. Construction at street entrance to Villas. Very noisy construction during our whole stay. The only dislike was at night the guard dogs woke us up on and off through the night. Hope this can be sorted out. There were a few minor maintenance issues in the Villas, such as the water cooler not working and a few light globes out. We found Seminyak very busy and chaotic with expensive shops and an unpleasant beach. There are many of gecko and the night is more than morning. Some noise from the laying of the path-ways; but it did not detract from our experience as the workmen did their best to limit the impact on us. New path will make it even nicer. Its not value for money. I have stayed at other villas in the same locality at a similar price and those villas were absolutely breath taking. Open plan living area lots of Mosquitos. Noisy in the morning and afternoon (front lobby and other villas is still under construction) insufficient hot water. my husband stood on a piece of glass right after villa had been cleaned!!! Cut his foot pretty bad. The current renovation - walkway is narrowed due to the renovation. There was construction going on which they had not told us about when booking so waking up the morning after our wedding to hammers banging at 7 am was not that great. The manager ketut was very attentive and overall was a nice stay. Not much!. The Villa is looking tired and requires renovations. Breakfast does require variation.Not enough hot water for 2 people to shower let alone wash hair. Wi fi poor No phone in room Staff didn't speak English well Breakfast not a lot of variety. A little rough round the edges, but still great value. Commitment made by manager were not fulfilled. This is a very new hotel and some part is still under construction. No one knew about R C Villas. Nothing. Towels had stains Too many Mosquitoes and lizards. The mosquito diffusers in the living room area did not help since it was an open villa. Mosquito coils were more effective. Caterpillar crawling from the shower area. Bath tubs had droppings so didn't use it but wanted too. However, there were too many mosquitoes. Not sure if it is because of raining season. All the work and renovation happening all around our villa. The entry and boarded off area. towel not clean,seem used for quite long time. Service (airport transfer never came), cleanliness, still under construction (noise and no lobby). The two bedroom villa is looking very tired ,kitchen was dirty ,benches scratched and stained, walls stained from water damage having rising damp in bedrooms. Staff washed up greasy breakfast dishes in cold water as the kitchen did not have hot water. The electric jug didnt work and was not replaced after being given to staff,which meant we had to boil water to clean dishes before we could use them.
