A lovely hotel, very friendly attentative staff. We enjoyed all the food we had in the hotel both breakfast and evening meal. The suites are gorgeous. The beach is very close but we were disappointed with the eating options outside the hotel in as much as restaurants and shops were too far away and spread out. Walking along the beach in the dark did not really seem an option as there was a water crossing to make.

I stayed in a double-storey suite with traditional Balinese decor, it's beautiful. I love the outdoor living area facing the front, and the marble bathroom is clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful, info leaflets of the tours and major attractions are all available at the reception, the reception. The hotel is a bit out of the way but we preferred to be away from the main strip. The hotel is situated near to the beach and has a lovely pool. The bungalows were nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. There is also a great spa five minutes walk from the hotel. We loved the quietness and privacy, as the hotel is away from any traffic and relaxed during the day. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful in organising drivers and tours. The general location of the hotel was too far out without transport. We are not shy of a walk but in this heat and with no pavements and extremely busy roads we found the location limiting. When we booked the hotels location on the map was not entirely clear. Breakfast wasn't the best. Omelette was not what I was expected. TV did not work properly. It gets really warm even when the a/c is switched to the coolest. Breakfast wasn't included and it was quite expensive to eat at the hotel in general. There are a lot of building works going on nearby so there is quite a lot of noise. Although it is not far from the beach, just a 5 minute walk, it is through a dark lane way and building site so you need a torch in the evening. Everything the best. The restaurant was average - not nearly as good value as the hotel. The access to the beach was closed gate was locked due to the owner not willing to pay the other hotel access to the beach. Should not say on web sit a short distance to beach. The tv was very old and the video did not work. Poor location. Need to get a taxi or walk down alleyway to get to beach. Expensive in comparison to other places we stayed in.
