From the moment you arrive the presentation of the venue is impressive, with a beautiful reception area. Our room was amazing. We received a free upgrade and the bedroom and bathrooms were huge and excellently presented. The breakfast was awesome with virtually everything you could want being available. The pool and spa facitities were great as were the gardens etc. The nightly entertainment was varied and a great way to finish the day. The staff were always helpful and friendly and their engli.
all reviews » We booked the garden suite and were totally impressed with it. The room was very clean, large and the bath was top class. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels, this one tops all so far. It is right on the beach and has many good facilities. I totally recommend the Spa in this resort, cheaper compared to other boutique ones, very clean and professional. We had a 2.5 hr massage for like 30Aud. The bar is awsome, right in the pool and perfect view to the sunset. Definitely visiting Balisani again. . The staff were great, with a genuine sense that they enjoyed looking after you and always happy to have a conversation, and know you by name. The hotel location is great, right on the beach and in the quieter part of Seminyak, but if you want to get out and about taxis are very reasonable. Favourite activity, reading a book by the pool/bar. Everything about our stay was fantastic! The staff were so friendly and helpful, made us feel more like family than guests. Happy hours in the swim up pool bar were excellent with wonderful cocktails, every meal we ate was delicious and good portion sizes, great relaxation in a great location right on the beach. Balisani is a hotel with old arhitecture, balinese style, pleasent garden in the interior, good restaurant with specific indonesian food but also continental, great swimming pool with bar&restaurant at the swimming pool, nice beach view every morning at brackfast, all in one great value for the money. Great location away from the crowds which to some can be a minus as there are a few restaurants nearby otherwise its a taxi ride , no problem there plenty of them, friendly staff and great veranda to have breakfast , good spa, recommend if you want "chill out " break -. We love staying at Grand Balsani, this was our 3rd stay and it just gets better everytime. The staff remembered us and it was great to catch up with them all. Grand Balisani is great for interacting with other guest as well. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful,providing a family atmosphere. Every request was catered for with a smile. The Staff tried very hard to make us feel food, and that it was on that beach. The only detracting factor was the actual beach immediately in front of the accomodation wasn't the greatest. You needed to walk a few hundred metres towards Kuta to reach a flatter beach with nicer sand. To add more mini bar items maybe champagne as well. Not really a dislike, but I would have liked to see more Indonesian/Balinese cuisine offered at the Hotel and at local restaurants. It's a little bit far away from Kuta if you are going for a clubbing party holiday or want lots of shopping but can easily be done with a 30 min taxi ride. My room number 411 was having a small see view and a big wall view that should be renovated and painted as it was looking bad. Also near to my room was a GSM antenna but was emitting in the back of the hotel and was not affecting the room with radio waves. A gym is also missing to this great Hotel!. The Sunday disco during sunset that time of day is more appropriate to listening relaxing sounds than to hear repetitive club music. The only possible critisism was that the pool temperature was too warm for me, which is rather unreasonable considering the Bali climate. Certain parts (fountains behind the rooms) need upgrading. Not friendly for disabled people. Too many steps n no elevator. Room finishing was a bit tired but nothing a touch up wouldn't fix. Food & drinks from poolside bar were not of great standard or value. all good. The location is a little bit away from everything and the traffic is very heavy most of the time. We feel that the outdoors could be better tended. It looks a little tired. Inside room mosquito n bug clear. N another very good. Location too far away from main area of Seminyak. check in burocracy. It is quite a long way from the action, but if your brave enough, hire yourself a scooter for the duration. Buffet breakfast could have had a bigger selection. Limited beer selection from pool bar. Limited wifi area. wi fi too hard to access food is ok but pretty boring. Hotel garden and pool are facing the sea but are separated from the beach by a low wall and a (quiet) road. Due to high waves the sea is no place to leave small children alone but requires a stay on the beach outside of the hotel. A little run down - room door locks became unserviceable. WiFi coverage was a bit patchy. Bathroom needs a renovation. our room look bit old, need better tv set, new towels, room need some hand towels(none in room) better air conditioner(very old in our room). dripping a/c broken toilet and non draining sink staff offering more expensive taxi options favouring their taxi company. not very clean old hotel. Room smelt. And apparently there's only 1 bottle opener in the whole place. Hotel becoming old Beach is dirty and no so friendly. Not Dirty but pretty old building, furniture and facilities. I am sure they could have done some renovations over the years to make it look and feel much better.
