  I love the whole design and layout of fivelements. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant at the hotel only makes delicious raw food, it gave me a whole new perspective and respect for raw food.   As everyone before me has commented, this is a very special little gem of a resort hotel just outside of Ubud. We stayed in the south the week before and the staff was lovely, but the service provided at Samaya Ubud had unequalled heart and authenticity, I literally cried when I had to say goodbye to the managers, waitresses, and other staff membe... what people say » rs.   Beautiful - in the midst of the Auyung valley, by the river, paddy fields and serene verdant surroundings. Quiet, private - you rarely see the other residents.   Accommodations were superb! Our villa is a teakwood house but all the modern amenities you would expect in fine hotels are provided. The bed was very comfy. Bathroom was lovely with a semi-outdoor feel. Free wifi was strong and consistent. Food was great. Breakfast was yummy and afternoon tea by the porch overlooking the rice fields was price... what people say » less. Service was prompt and very friendly staff. A tour of the Green School and Green Village established by the resort owner, is recommended. - What a wonderful place! Elegant luxury in a very authentic way. The houses are antic originals imported from Java and are so incredibly charming. Of course being old they squeak a bit here and there but that adds to the charm. What I really liked was the porch and the space around the house. Very comfortable and with an amazing view into the valley. We had one extra bed for our kids and it was big enough for both of them (9/11 yo). This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

  I have absolutely no complains about Villa Arya. It was the nicest hotel I've ever seen. Friendly staff, gorgeous place, nice decoration, delicious food. If you like privacy, this is the perfect hotel for you. They only have five rooms. In 5 days I barely saw other guests although they were fully booked. I'll come back to Bali and stay there agai - Villa Arya is a small boutique hotel that is beautifully designed. Our room was very spacious yet cosy, with our own balcony that opens out into a garden oasis. In the morning we opened the balcony doors and let the morning breeze fill the room - so comfortable and relaxing. The staff are all extremely gracious and so hospitable. They arranged a lovely birthday surprise and made our stay complete.
