Another great find on our trip round Bali. Phil and his wife Oriel, have gone beyond the call of duty to make this place into something really out of the ordinary. The north of Bali is really quite undiscovered compared with the more famous parts in the south, but it is so worthwhile to make the journey north through the mountains and say in Toya Bungkah Kintamani on your way up there to visit the ancient hot springs. Be ready for something very authentic, the locals out number tourists 1000 .
all reviews » It is absolutely wonderfull place to stay for couple of days to relax and have some sightseeing. This hotel worth it's money and could worth 5 stars. The owner is from Australia, so everything is perfect. Wonderfull food in the restaurant, best I had in Bali. Very attentive and friendly staff. Don't forget to ask them for massage, they organize nice lady to come, she is good and not expensive. Thou Lovina is not a place to do much, but this hotel is worth a stay. Just make sure to take speciall. i like everything in this hotel.. the restaurant and their hotel was connected to the sea, its really amazing.. the villas only has a 5 rooms ( i thought) so its really quite, when the night comes, they will put their candle near the pool or place that we will walked..so its really romantic.. the rooms was so awesome, so clean, big and beautiful.. OH yeah,,, two thumbs up with their bathroom... I LOVE THIS VILLAS SO MUCH. What a place !!! Thoroughly recommend. Staff fantastic,nothing a problem. Rooms cleaner and nicer than majority of 5 star hotels I have stayed in anywhere. Food delightful with great variety. Cold beer !!!! and good wines. Ambiance great. Quiet relaxed and untainted. Close enough for outside activities, or just right to spend days doing nothing but relax. Will definitely be back !!!!!!. the owner had a perfect vision of relaxing, design and comfort. It was modern and luxury. Very small resort, only about beautiful 5 mini villas. The bathroom was amazing! It was very quiet, so there was time to relax. we realy enjoyed our stay. VIllas are large and clean. Nothing. the villas is hard to find because the way to this villas was too small.. so we must find a help with local guy to take us here... just it.. Didn't see any clouds. -its a little bit far from the tourist zone, but thats also a plus!. The restaurant was not really great, but ok. 5 min walk down the road are a few really nice warungs such as Warung Bambu. The hotel is hard to find, so they need to add to the route description to take the road across the mosque. (no disturbance though). Nice location of the hotel on the beach but relatively far away from all other activities. Nothing. A bit expensive especially when I asked for an extra bed. English skill of staff not so good. Road to villa is poorly paved. out of wifi at villa #3. It is not convenient if you want to walk to center of Lovina, the meals of dinner were not very good. There is not beach in front of the hotel. Staff attitude and internal rules.. First cup of coffee in breakfast included plan is free, second you need to pay (i travel a lot and this is first time i've encountered this kind of situation). Credit cards payment is 3% more than normal price (they've 2 different prices on the bill).
