The name "Homestay" really suits Dedy Homestay. It really gives a feel of being at home. The owner Wayan makes you feel that. He treats his guests as family. He is a very nice person and quite friendly. He talks with you like he knows you from years. He is always open to feedback and try to improve on the given feedback. The staff is also quite friendly and always ready to help you. The breakfast is awesome. Dedy Homestay is located at extremely good location. All the bustling areas Kuta, Legia.
all reviews » Dedy Homestay is situated close to the airport and is only a short walk from the beach. From there you could easily get a boat to Kuta Reef if you feel like surfing some good waves. For the keen shopper, the Kartika Plaza is about a 10 minute walk from Dedy´s, same as the Waterboom Park for the kids and the "kids at heart". The staff is more than happy to help you with anything you may need, whether it´s a simple pizza delivery, scooter hire or booking any further travel arrangements. Wayan him. Location, location, location. Far enough away from the rat-race, but still within walking distance. We thought at first that it may have been a bit noisy in the area, but it was actually very quiet. We were upgraded to the family room, which was big, airy and.... CLEAN!!! The staff were fantastic - always happy, helpful and friendly. Dedy Homestay really was a treat. Like anywhere in Bali it has its issues, however after visiting 10odd other hotels (huge wedding party) There really is little difference. Great price, great location, great people and an all round great experience. If you want a smaller community feel and less luxury this is the right place for you. Especially loved the pool :). The place has the appearance of a backpackers and was quite untidy. Not much privacy because on the big balcony always people passing the room. Very small pool. Worn towels, seem not very clean. Insects. Poor breakfast. No cover for blanket. Fair cleaning. Not recommended for lazy and rich!. Hot water of shower was out of work in our room, and with owner's help, I took a shower downstairs in other room. We booked Dedy Homestay and were arranged to stay in his brother's nearby. Dirty bathroom, no facilities - as restaurant or sitting area. Aroud the pool is not enough space for relax. Location was in a dingy alley. Place was decrepit. Airconditioning was poor. Advertised 'private balcony and garden' does not exist.
