Mapa Lake View Bungalow is located at the bottom of Mt. Batur. It is a rather good choice if you wanna try Mt. Batur trekking. It has a great view(from the balcony) of Lake Batur and Mt. Agung. Also you can see Mt. Batur clearly in the opposite direction. Toya Bungkah has a very small population so this is a very quiet and peaceful place. I will not recommend anybody to stay in Toya Bungkah if he does not plan to go trekking on Mt. Batur. The place is not really easy to find but is worth it!. wifi patchy,. there's no restaurant at bongalow or near it. - Only cold water - a little bit noisy during the night due to barking dogs, scooters and singing prayers; but no problem with earplugs. Hostile village people (in the hot spring place), very not friendly. The WiFi is not as described. It is WiFi "on request". When you want to use WiFi, another guest sets up her laptop as a base station tethered to her phone. This will last for a couple hours until her computer sleeps or something else breaks the connection. Most of the time I did not have WiFi when I needed it. The place a bit noisy because a local road goes nearby. flies. Same price for single in double room. mosquitoes and flies (spoiled the luxury of sitting on the porch and enjoying the view), rooms are very basic. Very basic facilities for this price, partly no water in washbasin.
