Wondeful hotel when it was opened over 30 years ago. Spectacular lobby with a great wall covered by a magnificient relieph representing the Javese art. In the elevator elements of walls covered by objects of Javese art. Pretty and high quality furniture in the room made of incrusted genuine wood. Huge conference room with magnificient decoration of the vault. Very polite staff appropriate for 5 stars hotel. Very good price to value ratio. The hotel may be recommended for the enthusiasts of.

The room is not well maintain. Need to shower with cool water as the heater is very hot. Mosquito flying around in the room. I cant rate it as 5 star hotel since I have stayed at better and cleaner hotels at jkt rated as 3 Stars.The room we stayed was renovated room and we paid extra charge for that. But there was an awful smell from the wc, just like a public toilet. Room, walls, towels were dirty. Too bad for such an hotel. I think the fault of management. The hotel is old and facilities are basic. Old room, torn wall paper, stained carpet, poorly maintained bathroom. 1. Door man - poor. 2. reception - so so 3. we got to find our own room 4. breakfast time - crowded till we cant get any seat. room needed upgrading esp toilet. Cockroaches in the toilet. No internet in room at all. Overall needed overall. Rooms have not been renovated for years, carpet looks very used, bathtub is already grey instead of white. Internet in the room only available per cable, not per wireless. Staff spilled coffee at the breakfast, but no reaction to clean. For what it is it is really expensive. They just provided the wrong room, then they wanted to change but it was fine to me to stay in the old room. Nevertheless on the next day they tried to charge me the new room price. It took almost one hour to negotiate the room rate again!. The hotel needs full makeover. The quicker the better! It is old fashioned, filthy and dilapidated. Not recommended at all. There are better hotels in the same price range in the same vicinity to consider. Breakfast was okay. So bad.
