We loved our time here, the resort is right on the beach and right by the restaurants. Gili Air is far quieter than Gili T so this is no problem at all as everything winds down by 11. The pool is divine and snorkelling is on your doorstep. The accommodation was unique and we enjoyed the 2 story villa. Very relaxing and very required after Gili T!. Great room. downstairs hammok and daybed area was fantastic. Our Room was towards the back and of the property and was nice an quiet, barely noticed other people.

The pool was lovely too. location, natur, apartment a lot of potential, but management seems not to be able to make use of its staff is quite ok and friendly. Nice pool, good location, great snorkeling area just in front of the hotel. We had great time on Gili Air!. The pool, the location, the very friendly staff. Overall its good value for money. all. The hotel has bad reputation but in the last few months new manager Sarah & new chef Sebastian really transformed this place into really exciting, relaxing, good quality resort. New bangalows are very nice and clean, food is delicious, staff is trained and very friendly. Well done to Sarah & Sebastian for making this place what it is today. ps. make sure you dive with local Gili Divers whan you are staying at Sunrise!. The Bungalow is very nice, AC working good, the Bathroom is nice and the balcony upstairs very nice, too. Enough Space for clothes and a mini bar. Breakfast is ok. Right on the beach,great snorkelling,brand new swimming pool,good air conditoning.Good dive shop on site. Beach, staff, new houses beautyfull. location and dive shop. We wish we had paid for an air con room. There was nothing wrong with the fan but air con would have been more comfortable. The stairs to the bedroom are steep and the bathroom is downstairs so not good for anyone who struggles with mobility. Staff at restaurant for Breakfast were a bit slow. site under construction, main problem is poor management, beach should be cleaned periodically (plastic part, mud), shower at the beach should be fixed, and so on. The standard bungalow (with fan) is quite basic but for the price we paid making reservation on letsbookhotel.com (300 000 idr per night - less then at the hotel) it was really ok. In high season it costs 55$ and I think it is too much. Our standard double bedroom hut was the oldest on the resort and the bathroom was pretty basic. NON. If you happen to get one of the old bangalows or familiy room: do not expect great quality. Old parts of the resort needs refurbishing. There was confusion with our reservation - we booked Delux room and we were given family standard room. Eventually we were moved to suite room but they wanted to move us around again during our 5 days stay. The stuff Works very slowly, it is the only Problem, for the Price you would like to have a good Service. Toilet was dirty on arrival and no fans in restuarant to get rid of flies which were a nuisance and no mattresses for the beach lounges but we are told they are arriving and a new kitcken staffed by a french chef will be opened soon. Standard room Very bad broken shower, very old bath room....sink too small....cant Bush my teeth....sanitair worse!!. No internet connection anywhere. no restaurent only breakfast.
