Wayan's Guesthouse was a wonderful discovery for us. It is a traditional Balinese home with four rooms for guests. Being an older couple, we were delighted that Canggu was out of the main tourist area - quiet and relaxing. Our room was very comfortable, had air con, a fridge and was non-smoking - great! The en suite was a western bathroom in the Balinese style. There is no pool but the beach is close enough to hear the surf. When we arrived at Denpasar, Wayan arranged our airport transfers. Whe.
all reviews » Everything was good. The room is cosy and nice, bathroom is quite ergonomic, bed and pillows are very comfy. In the kitchen you can have tea or coffee anytime, and in the room there is refrigerator - so you can buy smth in bali deli (supermarket in 7 min by foot). The beach nearby is the well-known serf-spot, so you can serf as well or watch other's serfing. Wayan is a great host! He helped us with everything: where to..., How to..., What to... And so on. But: There was no breakfast during our . I had an awesome stay. Wayan and his wife make you feel at home. They have mastered the balance of being great hosts while giving you space. They had a taxi pick me up at airport (highly recommended) and there are scooters onsite to rent. No pool, which makes it peaceful and relaxing, and the beach is a 2 minute walk away. I was in Bali for 4 days, stayed at Wayan's the whole time and came home totally relaxed. S2S crossfit is 500m down the road, and great food very close by. Out of the hussle . We really enjoyed to stay at Wayans family in his guest house. Nice and clean rooms and an outdoor shower which was an unexpected nice experience. There was only 4 rooms with enterence to a small quiet garden which made it to an relaxing place to be. There was just about 100 m to the beach, and some restaruants and a foodstore in walking distance. It was also possible to rent scooters from Wayan which made it possible to explore the surroundings. He also arranged day tours if requested. An over. Very friendly guesthouse. Rooms are big and clean. Shower is great, rainshower. The room has an AC and fan, fridge, DVD player + dvd’s. Rent a scooter is a must in canggu, if you want to go for dinner and breakfast you need one. You can walk, but scooter saves you time and you can see different restaurants. Beach is really close, 2 min walk. We stayed here in October, the sea is rough so not that good for swimming, but for surfing excellent, but for beginners surfers I wouldn’t recommend. Wayan is himself with his Family what makes the time in his guest rooms so Special, they are very friendly and open, try to help in what they can, the rooms are very clean and loveble decorated, with AC and a own WC. What you want more??Not far from the Beach, not far from Seminyak Shopping mile, not far from the Airport. It´s the Insider Tipp. Hard to pinpoint best thing, when stay was so pleasant. Possibly best was that life remained normal for family and one just fitted in. Clean and great location near the beach. Wayan is always looking to improve things and is very helpful. The area is quiet and beautiful. Awesome!! Nice and cleans rooms. Nice and friendly family who run this placeM. Close to the beachM. No breakfast. Not having transport, although family would gladly take you anywhere. Wayan is excellent professional tour guide. The area of Canggu itself is a bit difficult to get to because of the road infrastructure but makes it nice and quiet once you get there!.
