  First and foremost, the staff is absolutely amazing. The Chandi is quite small, with 17 private villas, resulting in staff that's on a first name basis with all the guests, delivering fantastic service. Its proximity to the Gili Islands allow for a day trip with a local fisher boat.

  So glad we stayed here. This is a real homestay. The family was so friendly and helped us arrange an amazing scooter tour around Lombok with some locals. Defo one of my trip highlights.. Some coconuts happened to be ripe on the tree so they climbed the tree, and served us fresh coconuts.   We loved everything about our stay at La Casa Homestay. The family who run this place are super friendly and extremely helpful, and very friendly. They made us feel at home in la Casa. When we left for Gili T in a taxi (which they hail and agreed meter price for us) the whole family came out to wave us off and wish us well.   All around this was a wonderful place to stay! This is a small guesthouse with only four rooms, so it is very quiet and relaxing. There is a beautiful pool and garden with plenty of comfortable places to sit and relax. The rooms are huge and immaculately clean! Super comfortable bed. Nining and Andy, the hosts, live right on the property and... what people say » are friendly and welcoming. You can have dinner on the patio of their house and the food is delicious. Nining teaches a cooking class too. I didn't - Be aware that this place is quite far from Senggigi (6kms), and from any restaurant or so. If you are motorized, this should not be an issue, and you also may have your dinner there because Nining's food is delicious. The place is very nice, with clean rooms (and pretty bathrooms), a small swimming pool in the garden. Nining & her husband are friendly hosts, and can also arrange for you all kind of transportation & tours with partners, not more expensive than anywhere else. I do warmly

  The best hotel we have stayed in Indonesia, including 4-star hotels. Very clean, quiet, balcony with a beautiful view, great breakfast. The only catch would be, that it is not exactly in Senggigi, however it turned out to be an advantage rather than inconvenience. You can rent a motorbike onsite (50000 RP/day) and it's only a 4km ride (a very nice... what people say » ride, Lombok it's not Java or Bali, where we had no guts to rent a bike) to Senggigi center. We were welcomed and hosted by wonderful people - Farid - clean and comfortable room, Jana - the best driver in lombok, nice breakfast
