First thing you need to decide whether you need to stay in main bazza or not. We stayed there but on second thought we don't have to because the advantage of main bazza is that it's close to new delhi railway station, while we arrive delhi in the old delhi station and we leave delhi by plane. If you need to stay in main bazza, then this is a good choice. I feel it's a safe and organized hotel. I arrived at early morning and at the reception it was a very interesting old man.
all reviews » good locatation close to the New Delhi train station and they have a new building beside the old one but still under painting that it's a little smelly but decorated much better, much modern, may next time ... the old building is old and simply with a little noisy, but top floor is the restaurant and taste good and all the people are very nice & friendly. Relatively inexpensive for a Delhi stay. Can meet friendly foreign tourists with a keen interest to explore India. The roof-top restaurant with plants/ etc ambience is excellent for late-eve/ night and even breakfast. Close to roadside knick-knack shops/ curious if anyone is interested. We have spent nearly 8 days in the hotel and were quite impressed with the service of the staff in making our stay pleasant and comfortable. Most of the staff members were nice and friendly. We would not hesitate to go to the same hotel when we plan our next trip to Delhi. The staff was very frindly and helpful! Hotel is situated on the Main Bazar, but rooms was very quiet-it was the main reason because we chose this hotel.(Usually in India you has to wake up at 5/30 a.m. because it"s too noisy.) It was hot water. I loved the Bazaar location - you go out of the hotel and all the shops/ business and real life await you there. You go in and you can;t hear a noise in the lovely room featuring a surprisingly amazing fish tank in the wall. Very nice :). Got a great deal on a double room at this hotel located right on the popular tourist strip, Main Bazar. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and wifi seemed to work well everywhere. We were very impressed by our stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was much nicer than expected (gold suite). Restaurant was really very good for everything we tried. Staff were very accommodating. A nice oasis in the middle of a crazy city. - This hotel is located on the bazar, but the room is quite - the water was hot - the staff is very frendly - we could pay by credit card - the money exchange rate is very correct - aquarium :). The main Bazzar road where the hotel is located was a very enjoyable location for me. Having a person to exchange money and arrange train, taxi and tour travel was a great benefit. Lovely Havelli started in 1981. Family Run hotel; lovely people. Amazing service; the owner and staff could not do enough to help me. Great vegitarian restaurant next door. Bed is comfortable, room was clean and relatively quiet. The balcony of the restaurant is quite nice to get away from the market. Free wi-fi was good too. Great location in the middle of everything but the room was a quiet, clean retreat. the rooftop restaurant was excellent with a wide selection of food. Great Location. Very near to N.Delhi Station and Metro station. It is in the middle of Parharganj street. my walkin shower with glas wall and big mirrors in the room. Amazing room. One thing we were not so happy about is the hot water is not hot all the time... price's a little high... Cigarette smokey smell in the rooms. Windows open to the wall of next bldg. Located not in a downscale area of the city.. more along the gulley types. Daily wifi codes are a bit annoying but no big deal. The smell of burning typical of Delhi at 5am (I would suggest sleeping with the aircon on). This would not be isolated to this hotel!. - unfortunatelly 7 minutes walk from both nearest metro stations. Hot water was sometimes a problem. Bathrooms could be improved, but reliable hot water was nice!. In my room, I could smell toilet. had to get a free wifi login details every day instead of one for the whole 7 nights. A bit pricey, but if you want western comfort, you have to pay for it. I did not get the final bill copy, I have only advance paid receipt for the exact amount of bill. Could not get a refund as I stayed only 1 nights instead of 2 , 2nd night stay could not be cancelled:(. The pictures you put on the website were different than the actual rooms. Please put actual room pics for each type of room. Thank you!. Location is so busy place. It’s a really busy place. Lot of noise around the hotel. electrical maintenance is not good, there is no parking space near hotel. Cold water in shower There are better guest houses in Main Bazar St. For less than half the price!. They didn't accept credit card which written ok on confirmation. supposed to have large mirrors on wall and there was none... not sure how clean the sheets were. 1- Very very very dirty linen and bed sheets. 2- You have to call for Hot Water 5min before and they'll start it. But sometimes not that hot. 3- One room was a bit smelly. 4- In the Deluxe room there's no windows 5- on 4th floor sometimes food smell comes from roof top restaurant. AC,don't work! TV,don't work! Hotwater..what? Clean bedclothes..? Don't think so! You don't get what you paid for!!! Several dead fish in the aquarium!!. Food was horrible. Absolutely no cleanliness in utensils. Toilets are too small and water force in the showers were too less. Staffs were rude. Please do not go to this hotel if u r in family trip.
