The staff really looked after me. They could see I was tired and immediately upgraded me to a suite that was extremely comfortable and quiet. Very chic and luxurious furniture, I really enjoyed staying in the suite. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great coffee with breakfast. Good business centre with efficient facilities for internet, printing etc. A lovely haven away from the hustle and bustle of the streets. Would definitely recommend and I am looking forward to my next stay at the Aj.
all reviews » The first room I got was already a little better as I expected it to be, very good value for money, nice and clean. Without even asking for it, 5 minutes after checking into the room, it knocked on the door and I was asked if I'd like to look at another room facing the backyard, with less street noise from the festival going on outside. That room was even nicer and I gladly took the offer to switch. Ideal for the traveller to India, good English spoken, understanding of travellers' needs, willingness and ability to to help, eagerness to please, prompt attention to any requests. I appreciate the pick up service. Over several years I have noticed that the hotel is constantly being refurbished and improved. The personal and friendly service we received from the staff made our stay a very pleasant one as always at this well run family type hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt that the staff really cared. We felt very safe there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We really enjoy our stay at Ajanta and we will definitely return there if we return to Delhi. Service is mostly superb but restaurant service sometimes not so good and there is sometimes some difficulty with explaining needs in there probably because of lack of English by some restaurant staff. They told us our room did not have a window but come to find out it did. It opened right into the hallway. That was okay just funny. location not good,poor facility ,. Some items were not available in the room like tea coffee making facilities which is promised on the net.u should make it more clearer but the stay was worth it. Absence of tea/coffee maker in room as promised on website. There was no free wifi service was told to pay for it ,,cybercafe lounge at ground level lacked comfort and equipment like printer and fax.
