From the second we arrived we felt completely welcome and were greeted with a delicious welcome coconut drink. Throughout our stay the staff were absolutely delightful. They were warm, friendly, helpful and professional. The grounds are just incredible. The pool, private beach, our room, the bathroom and outdoor shower. I could go on and on! The restaurant food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant staff were, again, just wonderful. The spa was beautiful and calming and our treatments wer.
all reviews » We loved everything about the resort. Excelent staff, great location, brilliant views, the rooms, the silence, the noise, the food... I can go on and on about the place. My kids loved the place...the small waterfall, the spider web, the butterflies, the space they got, to play their games... They enjoyed themselves. I loved this place. We felt like we had arrived in paradise. The place and the people where genuine. It seemed to us that the staff really loved their workplace and this was how they where so caring. Even folding the towels in a different style every day. The most attentive and friendly staff we have met anywhere. Beautifully secluded location with fantastic views from the restauarant and pool area across the private beach with its dramatic waves. The best food we had anywhere in Southern India. Niraamaya provided us with one of the best and memorable vacations to the South India. The entire resort was serene, Spa was excellent and food and drink was no less than brilliant. I would recommend it to anyone that visits Kerala. Amazing Service Really lovely setting, infinity pool overlooking a private beach We had a sea view room which was spacious, amazing view, very private I tried a massage in the spa which was the best Ive ever had. The venue, location is absolutely stunning resturants staff friendlyness and service we came from the Leela, which is grand but this was even a nicer surprise and significantly less costly. The only thing which was not to my taste was the evening dinner performances. At the same time I saw other guests enjoying it. Could do with a few more sun loungers, but at least that stopped the sun terraces feeling crowded. Food and drink prices were very expensive (especially for India). They were similar to expensive uk prices. The food and drinks were fab though so it was worth but you did feel as though you were getting ripped off. The towel battle for beach chairs in the morning ( resort should stop that and organize this better; there is a simple ratio for # guests * # beach beds needed that prevents anxiety and guarantees every guest a bed without stealing one by putting your towel and a book on at 7am!!. Besides the hotel there isn't much else to do in walking distance. It's great if you want complete relaxation on the beach, otherwise can be a bit isolating. Nearby kovalam town isn't the most charming seaside town. - housekeeping could be done in the morning - swimming pool management to be made more customer friendly. Nothing!. cleanliness of the room attention of housekeeping (no ashtray although we smoked in the balcony, no knife and plate although I asked for) lighting of the room (standard lamp didn't work, no desk lamp). Nothing!!. Service at the restaurant was slow, the staff were all excellent and friendly, but it took a while for us to be served. poor internet,light safe. Nothing. staff could be more cordial. Restaurant was poor. waves of the sea. costly for foods, open bath tab is not safe for indian couples so much open spaces for bath rooms. lighting should be improve in rooms. The accommodation, the food and the poor service. Way too expensive for what you get. Piece a tourist. Cheating tourists.
