Wonderful service and very pleasant and helpful staff. Without informing the hotel of our arrival at the Jaislamer train station in the wee hours, we were pleasantly surprised to find hotel staff waiting to pick us up from the train station. Even though we had checked out on our second last day to go for a 2 day 1 night camel safari, the hotel have us a room to shower and pack up on the last day, and even arranged for their restaurant to cook us a meal while we were showering so we could eat st.
all reviews » Our stay in Hotel Tokyo Palace in Jaisalmer was amazing! The hotel staff (especially the front desk maanager, Gyanchand, who was super helpful and friendly the whole day) was the best! We felt so comfortable the whole time. Great to have the swimming pool, and a rooftop overlooking the whole city and right in front of the fort. You can just relax up there for hours, sipping chai and eating the banana fritters (you have to try!). The rooms were the best we saw in India: great decoration, very co. Just after I booked the room got a personal email from the hotel ssking if I needed to be picked up or any other help in getting to it. The first time sny hotel of the 20 or so I have thru letsbookhotel.com, large or small havr shown such initiative. Staff were super friendly, Great location. Could walk to all the major attractions. Roof top offered great views of Fort. Hotel's architecture/decor impressive. The hotel is a nice design, quite location and 10 mins walk to the fort gate, the rooms are large, modern and clean. The roof top reaustrant has good food and a view of the fort with wall seats to relax. There is a pool and the wifi is strong and reaches the rooms. Everything at Tokyo Palace was brilliant. The staff were kind and polite. The room was spacious and beautifully designed. Large bathroom with hit water. Rooftop restaurant has an amazing view of Jaisalmer Fort! Cute swimming pool as well. Stylish marbled walled rooms located just outside the city walls (5 mins walk to the fort) with a nice pool, friendly staff and a feel of luxury about the place. The atmosphere, cleanliness, design, food, swimming pool, in fact there was very little to fault and well worth the money even though it isn't expensive at all. You get more than you paid for. After ttavelling 7 weeks in India eating in all sorts of places, it gave me my first case of the trots and I poo'd the bed :(. Not one thing. None. The directions to hotel should be properly set up. One is misguided due to a board on shanty house being the same hotel, which is not so. only they should clean pool daily. otherwise hotel is great. Sound seems to echo through the building so that you can be disturbed by a loud voice in reception, for example. Nothing. nothing, it is greater that what you expect. Could clean up the street around the Hotel more. it was all fine. nothing to complain about. Except for they should keep some alcohol ;). absolutely nothing. Hot water was not coming. Safety and sécurité during camel riding. No hot water. Air-condition not work.
